Einfach fantastisch! Sehr idyllisch, herrliche Lage, liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Ich würde hier sofort wieder buchen. Besonders einmalig ist auch das Frühstück, einfach perfekt, man wird richtig verwöhnt! Wer ein Hygge-Erlebnis sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

Weekend trascorso assieme al mio compagno e al mio cane. Posso affermare che in questa Guesthouse l’ospitalità fa da padrona. Complimenti a Kristina e all’attenzione che riserva anche ai piccoli dettagli. Buona l’ubicazione, appartamenti ben arredati e organizzati, ottima colazione. Super consigliato!

A very friendly welcome and warm hospitality by the owner Kristina made us feel at home instantly. She helped us with our baggage and led us up many stairs to our room, which was spacious, very tastefully decorated and had beautiful views. The room was spotless, with quality linens and all amenities. Kristina greeted us each morning at breakfast with her beautiful smile. The breakfast room was set up beautifully, and cozy. The sumptuous breakfast included fruit, juice, a cheese platter with great varieties, yoghurt, amazing croissants etc., in addition to which Kristina prepared coffee and eggs to individual needs. She made time to chat and give us tips re places to visit and transport etc. Many beautiful hikes in the area. The bust stop is just outside the B&B and very convenient to get around to town and nearby attractions and the train station. We had an early departure, Kristina arranged for a taxi and stayed with us until the taxi arrived even with her busy schedule. We spent 4 nights which were memorable. 10/10 for Guesthouse Castagnola for warm hospitality, customer service and quality. Highly recommended.

Accueil chaleureux. Appartement très confortable, au design épuré et raffiné, très fonctionnel, disposant d’une petite cour intérieure, situé au calme sur les hauteurs de Castagnola. On peut cependant descendre se baigner dans le lac après un 1/4 d’heure de marche. Et il y a une station de bus à 5 mn à pied qui permet de se rendre dans le centre de Lugano. Les petits déjeuners sont très savoureux, copieux et variés.

Lovley and unique guesthouse in the small pittoresque village of Castagnola. Beautifully decorated rooms in soft and calming tones. Quiet area. Swedish owner who can help with touristic advices. The breakfast is outstanding. A couple of minutes walk down to the lake. You can easily walk to Lugano town. Hiking trails close both along the riverside and up hill.

Wir kommen jetzt zum Drittenmal hier hin - und wir werden wieder kommen. Für uns wie in zweites Zuhause. Alles ist sauber, einfach perfekt und äusserst sympathisch. Sehr romantisch und mit Herzblut eingerichtet. Hier ist man herzlich willkommen.

Sehr freundlicher familiärer Empfang durch Kristina. Zimmer modern trendig und liebevoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich wie Zuhause! Frühstück ein Highlight. Das Chemineefeuer brannte während des geniessens der liebevoll angerichteten Leckereien. So ein schöner Tisch wir waren überwältigt.Danke Kristina für alles!
