1) close to train station (only plus point)

4) would not consider next time … as my expectation is different

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful people. Hotel is not in the center of the town, a lot of steps have to be done. Breakfast was OK. The room was not according the pictures on the internet. An room with old furniture and an old shower.

Das Hotel ist 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof Lugano entfernt, Bushaltestelle gleich beim Hoteleingang. Das Stadtzentrum ist gut mit dem Bus oder mit der Standseilbahn am Bahnhof zu erreichen. Sauberes Zimmer sauber, ganz einfach, zweckmäßig eingerichtet ohne Kühlschrank und A/C. Freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Quaint old fashioned room. Nice balcony. Courteous check-in. Only issue was current construction around train station - do not trust Google walking route as it takes much longer to detour. Go behind train station and up to hotel the back way. The route TO the train station is the route to use TO hotel as well.

La chambre était confortable, spacieuse, très bonne literie, mais malheureusement nous avons eu froid, car le radiateur chauffait peu et la fenêtre était mal isolée.
Le petit déjeuner était cher par rapport au choix, à la qualité (croissant précuit, œuf cuit industriel) et à la quantité des produits
