Hotels near Das Eingangstor zur Altstadt, Lubeck

This hotel is located right in front of the (bus) station and near the city centre. Good location, so. Our room was on the back , but I don't think you're suffering much from the busy on the street. Parking is possible (limited) at the hotel and in the own parking garage for a not too ridiculous amount per night. The receptionist was a little acid. Only basic information about how it works at the hotel. We had to wait a long time until they opened the door of the parking garage before us, where we could park the bikes, as if the space was a little small for the number of people who had a bike. But hotels that can stole bikes are scarce in the centre of Lübeck, and then it is a little bit a hillside in the rooms. The room which the three old houses have, and what now is to look like a hotel, is clearly contradicted, and it is not accessible to disabled people, the reception is above a few steps. The breakfast is unknown and the bar is not very pleasant. The whole entourage in the stairs and the stairs misses style. The room was also fully refilled with a packing bottle and a water machine with flat and sparking water at the reception, and the warm and closed weather was very welcome. Two seats, one desk, enough stop contacts and space to keep your bag and clothes. Good shower, but a little light in the bathroom. Our room was warm and closed when we arrived. I suspect that the windows had been left open so that all the heat came in. We had little cool the room. Furthermore, the room was little about the body. Also, it was not very clean. There were several hairs on the dark tape and I saw at a given moment a thousand feet crumble (which was so strange in the city) and we had hoped better for such a price and for a Mercure.

I have been visiting this hotel for over 10 years (expect during Covid). As an amputee (5 yrs ago) and in a wheelchair, the rooms are excellent and have safe and secure wc & shower seat. Staff are just the best in the business. Breakfast has been good for all the years I have visited and the restaurant manager is the same wonderful lady for 10 years. Nothing is too much trouble and good underground parking plus a large lift. 99% perfect just a new mattress which make my room 114 100%. Well done IBIS Germany. Perhaps a few Euros more than it should be even with an Accor card.

Hotel location is very good, there is swimming pool and gym sauna, the hotel has parking lot but the seat is not much more than 14 euros a night. The disadvantage is that the floor of the room is gray on the side of the road, and the hotel may be old, the carpet inside the room is very dirty, the door I feel that the paint has fallen off, and the curtains in the room are also short. The morning sunlight can be glaring from below.

The location of the hotel is very good, the hall is also very atmospheric, and the rooms are also very good. The facilities are complete, the decoration is warm and unique, and the service is also in place

We had booked 2 nights in this hotel and were very satisfied. The rooms are very large and equipped with balcony the place to relax in the evening. Breakfast buffet was very delicious and extensive. Parking should have been booked before, as they had no longer to have after some time. However, you can still find a place to park in the surrounding area (gratis). The hotel is very central and the beach was about 2 minutes walking distance. The staff was very friendly and always meet. Very recommendable!

We had a superior room with direct view to the kitchen lake, this is just recommended, from room 22 you can already look at the lake in bed, from the terrace of course. The staff were friendly, a coffee/tea preparation option in the room, very delicious breakfast buffet, quiet location of the rooms in the new building, with a little luck a free parking option at the hotel, In the vicinity of the lake you can drive tretboat. Whoever likes can also bath directly at the hotel in the lake. In the bathroom there could be light (no direct lighting at the mirror) an enlargement mirror is available, the facility, especially the many different lamps in the room and in the hotel itself have very enjoyed, a pleasant atmosphere, it offers for stays where you want to rest in a short time. Only cleanliness could be improved. At first glance it seemed totally clean, but the table on the terrace had spots of glasses, although we had not been there, so it must have been from previous guests. Similarly, the doorside of the bathroom was sawn, the minibar was also to be wiped (as if there had been a little out there for a long time) and the coffee box was dust- in the winter garden dust hangs from the glass roofs, The floor was dirty at 18:00, so not washed before the dinner opening. However, the beds were clean and that's the main thing. The place itself is terriblely horrible, but the hotel cannot do anything for it. For the natural rehabilitation at the lake it is perfect, because of the city I would not travel there, but because of the hotel again at any time. The breakfast buffet did not open wishes, four different juices, countless tea varieties, coffee specialities, delicious whirlpool, a variety of offers. The friendly service at the breakfast table is especially mentioned.
