2-Star Hotels in Louisiana

Very clean room, and wonderful people working there. I had read reviews before staying so I knew about the train tracks that are close by. The train went past a few times, but it really didn't bother me at all. We had a room that overlooked the river, and the tracks. There is a fridge and microwave in the room that we didn't use. We did use the coffee maker and appreciated it came with 2 packs of coffee, good for a total of 4+ cups of coffee. The bathroom has an unusual way to divert the water to the shower, and when I checked in, the owner explained how to simply pull down on the spout and it worked flawlessly. There is not a lot of restaurants in the town, we got a pizza at the next door bar, and it was acceptable but not great. The wifi worked well. Overall, I considered it a good to great stay, and glad I picked this place over other other choices. Parking was right in front of our door, which is what we wanted as we wanted to avoid stairs. I did miss having a shelf or bedside table on the ”other” edge of the bed, but space is limited in the room we had as it was 2 double beds in the room.
