Spring Arona Gran Hotel - Adults Only

Love the hotel.Food and service is the best ever.Great Location. We Booked the UP service,which is fantastic. Just been advised we some of the facility will not be available tomorrow, due to private function.Last year they shut half the pool area for a Reps party. This is not the way to treat loyal guests. Gone from 5 star. No apology. Clearly do not care.

From walking through the doors to walking out after a week we had a great stay at the Arona Gran. Check in was seamless and the welcome drink was a nice touch. We had 2 rooms and were upgraded to pool views, the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. House keeping was daily and efficient and the staff were very polite. Pool areas were lovely and clean, there were ample sunbeds although people did try to reserve beds. Pools were warm and the jacuzzi was a delight, watching pensioners unknowingly drowning people on beds with the jet sprays was highly amusing! Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a huge selection, English bacon was a bonus and the staff in the restaurant were very good and helpful. We had a couple of teenagers with us and they found the location a little quiet but for us it was perfect. We will definitely return minus the kids!

Very nice place to relax in the sun and have fun. Great hospitality, Great food & drinks & Service Online wish I have, please check out air quality in the training/gym room… make sure that enough fresh air come in… 😉

Arona Gran lived up to expectations and more. We had a one bedroom suite with access to the UP level, room was a very good size and had excellent facilities with a terrace large enough for two sun beds as well as relaxing chairs and small table. Great view up the bay and overlooking Los Cristianos port. The efforts they went to decorate for Halloween was an unexpected bonus! The food buffet, both for breakfast and dinner was very extensive, well stocked throughout the sessions. You would have to be a very fussy eater not to be satisfied. Our daughter is GF, once we made the chefs aware of this they went out of their way to ensure she was looked after also. The Jarea Restaurnt was a great treat. It’s at the southern end of the Los Cristianos resort area, so quieter than the centre, but has a beach club next year which may be loud until midnight, but didn’t disturb our sleep! Very friendly and helpful staff.

We all had a lovely time at Aron Gran adults only hotel .The pools ,food ,waiting and cleaning staff were excellent rooms were cleaned every day. Gardens and plants were lovely .we did how ever have a problem with our air conditioning it was leaking and left a puddle on the floor as we're some of the other rooms did .They tried to fix it but were unable to at the so we were moved to a different room which was much better .And we had a better WiFi reception in there . We would recommend this hotel we had two weeks there going back for our sixth next year. The Lord family

Lovely staff, lovely food and great clean rooms beautiful sea view. Staff cannot do enough for you, arrivedclate but there was food available. Pool area is kept so clean 👌 pool man works really hard to straighten the sunbeds and power wash the area every night

We have just returned from a week at the Arona Gran and had a great time - The room was clean, well equipped and we had booked a sea view room, which did not disappoint. The food was also very good with a wide choice, we never went hungry. Drinks were also reasonably priced and of good quality. We had no issues at all getting a sun bed. It is hard to find any fault in the hotel and whole experience. What can't be controlled by the hotel, but were minor irritations (As noted in other reviews): The average age of guest is 75+ which is not a problem (I have parents of that age), it was the arrogance and ignorance of many people we met, just looking through you when you just say hello! The ferries in the harbour do make a noise, but again, that is all part and parcel of being on the coast, so we accepted that. The big issues we found, again, not the fault of the hotel but they do affect the overall experience were: The music from the beach club, can be heard all across the hotel. Also at the weekend, it seemed there were some live acts at a nearby venue, with really bad singing and very loud. It is a shame as the hotel can't control the external noise, I assume that many of the guests just remove their hearing aids, so not a big issue :) We will be back as the good points more than outweigh any bad ones.

Just returned from 17 nights at the Arona Gran, our third visit this year and our 6th in total. Have to say we had a fabulous time once again. Hotel is kept spotlessly clean from the rooms to all public areas. Food is really good considering it’s a buffet restaurant with plenty of choice. We particularly enjoy the Gala night. Thanks to Roccio, Valentin and Reuben for their excellent service. All the restaurant staff worked really hard. Pools are lovely especially enjoy the spa pool but do be careful not to sit directly behind the jets or you will get soaked 🫣 we had no problem finding sunbeds (there were 4 of us) and the lifeguard does remove towels between 9 and 10 if they are left unattended as reserving beds is not allowed. We think this is fair. Entertainment is a bit hit or miss to be honest but we enjoyed drinks on the terrace so it didn’t bother us. No problem with getting our drinks in the evening and a special thanks to Soto and Manuel who looked after us well. We spent 4 days on the UP this time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beatrice and Narissa looked after us well - special thanks to Beatrice who makes everything fun. Hotel is probably due for a refurb soon- some of the towels are a bit thin and threadbare and the umbrellas around the pool are starting to look a bit worn as are the awnings on the room balconies but this will not stop us returning. All in all a fabulous holiday ….see you next year
