Kunsthotel "Drei König" am Marktplatz Stadt Lörrach

I thought long and hard about whether I should write this review. Yes, the employee apologized a million times and yes, there was a discount, but in the end all she could say was that my hands are tied, the owners decide that. And so that the owners understand, I am writing this review. As we know the Drei Könige as a restaurant and bar in Lörrach and have eaten very well there (I wrote a positive review here years ago), we went to the Drei Könige on our visit to Lörrach because we wanted to treat ourselves. Check-in only works with a PIN code, which reminds you of a budget hotel, but okay, everything worked out. The rooms are fine and clean, the bathroom is big enough, shower gel, shampoo etc. are provided by Loccitane, and there is a hairdryer etc. The breakfast on the first day was disappointing. It really is basic. Rolls, jam - strangely enough, there aren't little bowls or those little waffle containers here, but you have to somehow put the jam on your plate. Beyond that, there's not much choice. Eggs are only available upon request, but don't ask too many people, because the egg cooker apparently only cooks two eggs at a time. Variations, such as soft-boiled, aren't possible either; they only cook hard-boiled eggs, and that's that. The second morning was even worse. No butter, even less choice, no rolls. A woman at the next table scoffed, saying you're overwhelmed by the selection. When three tables asked for eggs and rolls at the same time, the waitress was hopelessly overwhelmed. After 20 minutes, by which time they'd run out of yogurt, but I was tired of asking, we were served reheated rolls from the day before, so hard they were like thick crispbread. As I said, we didn't pay for breakfast, and the waitress insisted it wasn't her fault - which I believe. I suggest they rename themselves Three Little Kings Budget and charge €35 a night, then it'll be fine again.

Gerne wieder problemloses Selfcheckin mit Code, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, feines Frühstückbuffet (feiner Kaffee, frischer Fruchtsalat, Rührei frisch serviert…) Mann Rezeption u Frühstückservice war sehr nett. Gute Lage, Einzig die 8.— für Hotelgäste Garage alter Markt hat nicht geklappt.

Sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt Ich habe für meine Eltern dieses Hotel gebucht, da diese in Lörrach eingeladen waren. Das Hotel und Zimmer waren in einem Zustand, welcher zu diesem Preis nicht annehmbar sind.
