The family that runs the hotel is lovely. The location is excellent and the views incredible. The village itself is small, so it's easy to get around. They have a food service; we had dinner there and everything was delicious. The prices are affordable considering the location, and the food is hearty. My boyfriend ordered a beer, but I don't like it. The lady noticed and brought me a glass of their homemade sticky rice liquor, which was delicious. They were very hospitable. If you come to Dazhai, I highly recommend it.

The place is in a very convenient location (compared to other inns that are way up the mountain hill). All wood, very cozy. Can get cold in the winter. The owner is very friendly and they have a good menu with local dishes. Definitely worth for the price.

Love my stay, proprietors were welçoming, clean, had family meals, upgraded at no cost, hot water, heater great room patio views.
The negative experience and *not connected with the hotel were the aggressive ethnic women vendors, they lie about their products, use guilt trip and aggression to try to get you to buy. I certainly don't want the lump them all together but in my seven encounters it was 100%, perhaps it's a cultural thing. I've told my proprietor and hopefully she'll warm them that it's harmful fleecing and being unpleasant.

Well located with a nice view. Rustic hotel with a good environment. Owner super friendly and makes wonderful food. Super helpful and can speak a little English. I recommend.

Our inn is Chinese fir stilted building, the main building is four storeys high, independent loft is two storeys high, own 20 rooms. We also have bus from Guilin railway station to Dazhai parking. and we provide charter service, if need, please make advance reservation.
