I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties and always appreciated their standard of service, but my recent experience at this location was shockingly poor—primarily due to the conduct of the manager, David. I had called to request a refund after realizing the surrounding area was not suitable for a family visit. It would have been fine as a quick layover stop, but not ideal for a beach vacation with children. When I explained this, David immediately became curt and dismissive. He repeatedly talked over me, didn’t allow me to finish a sentence, and ultimately hung up the phone mid-conversation. The interaction was bizarre and unnecessarily hostile. Even more disappointing, ******* had reached out on my behalf and also encountered the same inflexibility. David seemed to take personal offense at my honest feedback about the location and made no effort to show professionalism, understanding, or basic courtesy. He had clearly made up his mind and refused to engage in any reasonable dialogue. It’s unfortunate how a single manager’s behavior can tarnish the reputation of a respected brand like Marriott. I hope the company addresses this internally, as no guest should be treated this way—especially when reaching out with a sincere and polite request.

Only thing that comes to mind is jacuzzi temperature was not even 98 degrees. Also this morning van shuttle to airport was 10 minutes late and parked in front out in rain instead of under entry roof cover! Why? 5:40 in morning. Lady opened back van doors and did not even help load luggage into van.
