The room was small tv not working and sockets on the wall behind kettle toilet was leaking .had to leave accommodation to go across the street for breakfast WARMING WARNING LADIES my partner and I booked in a one nite stay I applied fake tan as I was going out on the morning of check out my bank notified me of a £60 fee to the same accommodation in which we had paid 2 days before. I contacted the owner he not Pick up call after 3 calls he returned my call to tell me he had went into my account without authorisation and took £60 for staining of towels and bedding due to fake tan I was totally shocked a room only had cost £140 FOR ONE NIGHT I have stayed in loads of hotels and never ever had this trouble suspected fraud has been committed which I will investigate I will not let this matter go I wouldn't recommend this place to any ladies it's discrimination in my view again as I say I will get legal advice on this .Donna /Stephen 16/2/25

Awful.... please don't waste your time or money. Horrible place, mouldy, hazardous and waste of money. We left within an hr of being there. The advertised pictures are not reflective of the property itself. Peeling wall paper, going somewhere else for breakfast... would not recommend, would def warn others not to go there

Never been a complainer, but very disappointed about staying in this unhygienic place!!!! Dirty mattress broken jars. Should be 1 star, not 3 stars House. Such a shame. Don’t waste your money there

Should be 2 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ for the House 🏡 It’s not a Hotel 1) It be nice if you delivered shampoo/shower gel 2) Single person shouldn’t walk down 1 flight of stairs every time washes hands or go to toilet. Single person needs more room to put their stuff. I.e Wider table 3) going outside (maybe cold, rain) to have breakfast in another hotel across the road bit of a walk just to get breakfast (HOPE THIS CHANGES especially coming to winter ) 4). Tv didn’t work Breakfast buffet was excellent and excellent service from Helen. Lovely lady No bar/restaurant No Reception in House 🏡 and no staff around. Only telephone if need assistance 10 mins walk from town and Free Derry statue and famous Murals Information Tour tickets office near Guildhall. Coach station near Guildhall . And shops and takeaways, pubs

First & last time staying here, location & breakfast was nice, shower was mouldy, curtain ripped off, but the owner is so greedy I definitely won’t be back, I usually stay in the Art house which is 10/10 but wasn’t available so I tried to book this place for 2 nights, was £112 for 2 nights on ebookers, I rang to see if I can book direct (to pay cash) he said “no it’s £120 so book on ebookers then” (then hung up) so I entered my details & on check out it changed to £140 & said “rate has frequently changed” (1min after he hung up). I booked for 1 night & asked at breakfast to stay again a lady rang the owner who said it was £75 for the night, I said it was £65 on ebookers and they claimed because I was in a triple room (which I didn’t book & place was practically empty, all rooms open) I said I didn’t need it, so I went to book online & again 1min after what he said it was taken off online and priced upped on other sites. The greediness is a disgrace, I found somewhere near by staying for 4nts so that’s 4nts lost, sad really as I come to Derry for 2-4nts a month with work but won’t be staying here again. The housekeeper is lovely tho, like most people in Derry, decent, honest, hard working people (unlike the greedy owner).

The b&b needs a facelift. The room was quite small although cobweds on celing. The door to the toilet had no handle. Was woken at 2.15am to the sound of the washing machine (owners clearly taken advantage of the reduced night time electricity rates). Continental breakfast was fine but if you wanted a cooked breakast additional charges required. Staff were lovely and helpful. Howere this does not mask the lack of money invested in their business. Would not go back.

Don't spoil your trip to Derry by staying in this awful place. Staff are lovely at first, but when you make any small criticism they become rude and confrontational. Totally sub standard accommodation, toilet seat hanging off, cold, tiny bathroom. I could go on..

Cramped room. Dirty bathroom, mouldy shower. Questionable security. Provided number was not proprietor and couldn’t provide a number for them. Unbelievably poor value for money. Disappointed in the extreme. Simple. Don’t book here!!

Poor experience with manager. So rude and so unhelpful. Will never be back! Unable to accommodate or be helpful in a situation. I had to get *********** involved as I was getting no help. *********** very helpful.

We stayed two nights in this hotel managed with codes (no reception), which makes the affair very impersonal, especially when you book in a Bed and Breakfast. The beds are comfortable but our room was rather in decline (curtain bar which hangs by a thread for example). The bathroom was a disaster, very small and you had to slip between the sink and the shower to get in (what about strong people?). The bathroom had to be a whopping 3 m2. The shower door was in danger of falling on our feet at any moment. On the other hand, once this problem was mentioned the next day, the door was repaired: BRAVO for the responsiveness! Good varied breakfast in a 2nd BB across the street. TB. Very friendly staff
