I went to the Ritz to attend my friend's afternoon tea event. I love the quality of cakes and sandwiches. The scenery of downstairs and other secret rooms are so beautiful that you have to take a picture of it and post it on social media. A beautiful place to go to for nice events like birthdays, weddings or classy parties.

Kind friends gave my husband and I Afternoon Tea at the Ritz as a present to celebrate our recent 80th birthdays. What a wonderful treat. Even though we had lived in London for a few years, we had never had the honour of being in the hotel. We were looked after superbly. The food was divine, with a fine selection of teas. Even a birthday cake was presented to us. Alas, we were too full to enjoy it there and then, so kindly a box was provided in which to transport it back to our home in Norfolk. A truly memorable and happy occasion.
