Belvedere Hotel

Very bad. I was assigned a room on the underground first floor. The room was extremely small, with almost no signal and wifi. The soundproofing was very poor. There was also a train rumbling in the middle of the night and the whole building was shaking.

For the sake of cheapness and convenience, I chose to stay next to the Padma Bear Station. However, there is no elevator. My room is on the fourth floor and the stairs are narrow. It's too bad.

Good points - Close to Paddington Station, easy to get around - 24-hour convenience store nearby Bad points - No elevator (we were a family of three, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up to the 5th floor by ourselves) - No air conditioning (it was so hot that bugs would come in even if we opened the window) - No housekeeping (no towel or sheet changes) - When I called to ask for towels to be brought to the room, the front desk told me to come and get them myself. Furthermore, the towels we were given had stains on them. I've attached a photo. - No internet connection on the 5th floor (can't watch TV either) - The bathroom and toilet were too small The staff's attitude, the quality of the rooms, and overall, it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in in London. Not recommended Pros • Very close to Paddington Station, which made getting around easy. • There is a 24-hour convenience store nearby. Cons • No elevator. Since we were a group of three staying without meals, we had to carry our heavy suitcases up to the 5th floor by ourselves. • No air conditioning. It was extremely hot, and even with the window open, bugs came in. • No housekeeping service. (No towel or sheet replacements.) → When we called the front desk to request clean towels, we were told to come and get them ourselves. The towels we received had stains on them — photos attached. • No internet connection on the 5th floor (the TV also didn’t work). • The bathroom and toilet were extremely small. Overall, the staff’s attitude and the condition of the room were disappointing. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in London, this was the worst experience. I honestly do not recommend staying here.
