The hotel is in a great location, right next to Charing Cross Station. The subway entrance is a 3-minute walk away. The National Gallery is diagonally across the street, visible from the breakfast window. His Majesty's Theatre, where The Phantom of the Opera was performed, is also a few minutes' walk away. Breakfast was good, including Eggs Benedict.

I booked a family room for 5 nights, but the front desk assigned me a first-floor room. I had to walk across the hotel's bridge and then to the elevator, carrying my own luggage. Upon entering the room, I was stunned. The view from the window was completely obscured, the room was dark and depressing, and there was a stench of kitchen fumes. The hot water in the shower ran hot and cold. (Picture 1 is of the first floor; the other pictures are of the sixth floor, for reference only.)
I contacted Ctrip for assistance, and their service was excellent and timely. I was moved to the sixth floor the next day.

The hotel service is very good. It is right outside the subway station and there is a train station next to it, which makes travel very convenient. There is also a BOOTS and M&S next to it, which is very convenient for buying daily necessities and snacks. This hotel is divine! The location is incredible. Turn left at Charing Cross tube station, then turn right and walk three minutes to Embankment tube station. It's a five-minute walk to the Apple Market in Covent Garden. The National Gallery is just across the street, and Chinatown BIG Ben is just a few minutes away. It's also very convenient for viewing the Thames at night. The hotel's fragrance system is also very pleasant. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations. The picture shows the National Gallery at the hotel entrance. It's literally just a short walk away.
