Wonderful gem. They have a mildew issue on one end of the hotel. They switched my room promptly. And the service was excellent. Beautiful appointment in the room. They do add 15 pounds service charge daily to your bill (optional). A bit weird to not tell people upfront. Because the staff was nice and space very pleasant I paid it. Better to build it in to the price? Or tell one upfront. Would highly recommend and visit again.

10 out of 10!! Best hotel experience of my life. The people were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The decor quintessential London. Met a young woman, Lala, on her first day. What a sweetheart. Thank you all for making our stay so incredibly special.

Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig in einer hübschen und unaufgeregten Gegend, von der aus sehr vieles zu Fuß erreichbar ist und auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind fußläufig gelegen. Das gesamte Personal war aufgeschlossen, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und sehr hilfsbereit. Es wird Wasser zur Verfügung gestellt, ein kleines Betthupferl hingelegt, nachmittags gab es ein wenig Gebäck auf's Zimmer, Kaffee und Tee werden täglich aufgefüllt, es steht alles zur Verfügung, was die Internetseite verspricht. Wir bewohnten ein Classic Double. Ja, es ist nicht zu groß aber groß genug. Ein schmuckes Zimmer mit Textil-Tapeten, original Zeichnungen als Bildschmuck, ein bequemes Bett, gute Matratze, gute Kissen, hervorragendes WLAN, flauschige Handtücher, es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten und wollten. Anstelle des Schreibtischs oder der kleinen Kommode wäre ein kleiner Kühlschrank schön gewesen. Was wir nicht so angenehm fanden, war, dass die Fenster (zur Straße im 3. Stock) nicht zu öffnen waren und wir per Klimaanlage belüften mussten. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten könnten mehr Wartung vertragen (Lüftung im Bad, ein paar sehr sichtbare Gebrauchsspuren), aber irgendetwas ist ja immer, allerdings wirbt das Hotel mit dem Wort "Luxus" und der Preis ist sehr "anständig". Allerdings ist der Preis der Gegend und London geschuldet. Wir haben dort eine schöne Ruhe-Oase nach langen Tagen in London gefunden.
