The location of the hotel is OK and the surrounding area is safe. However, I checked in at the beginning of May, the temperature in London was below 10 degrees at night, and the hotel room did not provide heating! The room was so cold that I couldn't sleep all night. After reporting the problem to the front desk, the hotel initially provided a small electric heater which was not very effective. After some persuasion, they provided another small heater. But this kind of entanglement affects my mood during the holiday. 😩

Forget what you have heard about Brittania Hotels, the Hampstead is fantastic, clean and friendly. Always a pleasure to stay here. Staff are brilliant, bar area is 5-stars. Easy to walk into Camden Town in just 5-minutes and just a short step from Chalk Farm Tube. 10/10

The biggest advantage is the price. You probably won't find a cheaper hotel of the same type in London, but don't have too high expectations. It's about the same as a guest house in China.
