Room was basic for price and not well presented, the walls were dirty and had food stained on and the bath had filler to cover the holes which Wes rough on the feet, the bed had wooden blocks u see the legs and pillows had stained marks overall would not pay to stay here again.

Amazing

Overall was good, staff were friendly.
However, upon checking-in my sibling accidentally cut her legs due to poor condition chair provided. We immediately called for room service. They then provided 2 bandages and told us not to further use the chair. That was the only action taken. They could have compensated or at least replace a new chair for us, as that was the ONE AND ONLY chair in the room.

This was a lovely hotel, the nearest tube is Russel square which was a short walk from the hotel door roughly 5/10mins right on the Piccadilly line. Really clean and very helpful staff. The rooms were very warm but a fan was provided and help with the thermostat reduced the heat. Great location for central London and the family room was fab. Would recommend.

Very good and clean. Although small, it has everything. It is a renovated old house with a lot of flavor. It is a 2-minute walk from the back door of the British Museum. The breakfast is also rich and the service attitude is good. The neighborhood is very quiet. Highly recommended

Very Good

The room is large and clean, with two 1.8-meter-long beds. It is very close to the British Museum, convenient for travel, and the front desk service is also good. I will choose to travel here again next time I come to London.

The hotel rooms are OK, but the guests are extremely disrespectful.
We booked three rooms before and after. A few days before check-in, we were notified that two of them had to be moved to a very poor sister hotel next door due to maintenance reasons. Because several families were going to travel together, we hoped to cancel them together so that we could book accommodation together. The hotel agreed to cancel two orders and refused to cancel the first one, which resulted in one of our families having to leave the team and change hotels separately. When we checked in, they said that they could not check in on the first night of the two nights booked due to maintenance reasons. The two big bed rooms we needed could only be separated into two rooms in the two hotels next door. Because we were with underage children, we were forced to stay in a very poor single bed room for two people, which affected our rest and itinerary.
The worst thing is that I asked for a refund on the spot for this problem. Several staff members on the scene said they would ask the manager for instructions. It dragged on day after day until Ctrip intervened for several days before deducting the labor fee and refunding one night's room fee, which wasted a lot of my time.
Travel is for happiness, there is no need to waste your mood on a hotel with such a poor service attitude.
The picture is the so-called sister hotel where we were arranged to stay. It is difficult to turn off the faucet after opening it. It is very bad.

The room is large, with 2 large beds for 4 people, very comfortable. However, the floors of British hotels are too thin. If you walk upstairs, you can hear it very clearly downstairs, especially in the middle of the night, which is scary.
However, the breakfast only had cold cuts, which was not very tasty.

Facilities: The room is very big. I stayed here for a long time so I upgraded the room type. The heating effect is also very good. The room window faces a small park behind the hotel. It is very quiet.
But the disadvantage is that the toilet water pressure in the toilet is unstable and usually relatively small.
Health: The health service is very good and is always on call. However, the service is slow after calling.
Environment: It is an old-fashioned British-style hotel, although it is small and well-equipped. Overall, it is still more business-like. Most of the tourists are local business groups, and there are also a small number of foreign tourists. It is very convenient to reach Russell Square when you walk out. There is an eight-minute walk around, such as Waitrose Sainsbury's Daily Supermarket and other supporting facilities. There is a commercial building in that area backed by the British Museum.
Service: The attitude of the waiters is very good. Even the room service staff are mostly male. Most of the waiters are not particularly fluent in English.
