Axiom Park Hotel

The location isn't central, but we knew that when we booked. We got around easily by bike, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so you can get to the city center in just a few minutes. On Sunday night, the pub across the street was partying until late, but we were so tired that it didn't bother us too much. The reception staff was always extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming: truly a strong point of the hotel. Unfortunately, cleanliness leaves much to be desired, which is a shame because everything else was fine. I found it dusty and lacking attention to detail: the bed was made and the towels changed, but the same crumbs remained on the floor every day, and the glasses had been washed sloppily or with excessive soap left behind. Upon my arrival, I cleaned up a bit with sanitizing wipes. Furthermore, the housekeeping staff wasn't very courteous, unlike the reception staff. I would also suggest replacing cracked cups and adding some cutlery to make our stay more comfortable. The area is quiet (except on Sunday evenings when the pub is open), with a Tesco and a Santander bike rental point nearby, as well as a lovely park just steps away. Overall, I had a great time, especially thanks to the convenient transportation and the friendly reception staff.

There are no arrivals and the door handle is old
