The Z Hotel Covent Garden

Given the price and the location I would have probably rated it as good value for money if I had had to sleep standing up in an airing cupboard. Instead I got a small but perfectly formed room, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff and as an added bonus Tuesday is free cheese and wine night. I will definitely use it again.

The hotel was excellent room was a good size and very clean. Pillows were lovely and comfortable. Shower was very powerful. Breakfast was good nothing fancy but enough to start they day. Staff very helpful and the complimentary cheese and biscuits were most welcome after our night at the theatre

Lovely clean and inviting hotel in the heart of Covent Garden-a perfect area. Room was clean and quirky and perfect for our little family. The staff were very attentive with a nice chilled vibe. Wine and cheese and soft drinks for kids was a total bonus, and an extra special welcome and effort was made for the birthday girl. We will certainly be back. People may think the room is a bit small for a family-getting ready to go out was the only time that affected us but as for sleeping quarters it was perfect size! Thanks for a lovely stay Z hotel we will undoubtedly be back!

I had the pleasure of staying at Z Hotels Covent Garden last night, and it truly felt like a dream come true. The vibrant atmosphere and the exceptional service made my experience unforgettable. I especially enjoyed a delightful cheese and wine evening with one of my friends, which added to the charm of my stay. One small suggestion: adding an indoor or artificial plant to the bathroom shelf near the sink could enhance the experience even more. It would bring a touch of warmth and serenity to the space. I’m excited to see how little touches like this can transform the hotel. Thank you!

Who designed a family room with a glass see through shower and toilet? Mentioned to the staff, their response “all the rooms are the same” so all family rooms are poorly designed then. Good to know. For £360 per night, i’d expect some privacy for my daughters in a “family”room. You know, somewhere they can shower without their dad having to leave the room. Add to this the dirty reception and bar area, wont be back at that price and with uninterested staff at best. The solution’s easy too.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the location, it was very easy to find as well. The rooms are definitely on the cheaper side for the area and come very basic-exactly what you need if you’re spending most of your day out exploring like we were. Our one issue was the cleanliness, the rooms tended to collect quite a bit of dust and the ac vents appeared to never have been cleaned.

The hotel location is really good. Its a walking distance to restaurants and train stations. The staff are nice and hotel is clean. This is the first hotel in our Europe trip that I did not spray lysol everywhere. The negatives that I can say about the hotel is that the room is small. My husband can literally see me pooping in the room and hear “the sounds” lol Also the bed is hard. My husband woke up several times at night due to back pain. Oh and I do not recommend their continental breakfast. Eat somewhere else. They have little options and if you are gluten intolerant or sensitive. They offer “gluten free” bagel but still gave my husband stomachache and diarrhea. I doubt its really gluten free. This is an okay budget hotel. Would recommend if you can tolerate the above mentioned.

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in and out. Easy to access hotel using your key card after gates are closed for evening. I was traveling alone, but felt safe in and around hotel. Hotel has a handy cafe for quick breakfast and a coffee. Only bad moment was when fire alarm went off twice in middle of night. Annoying but not end of the world. Was false alarm both times.
