I booked two deluxe rooms, but the front desk manager said that extra beds were not allowed and insisted that I pay 200 pounds a night to upgrade. Very dissatisfied! I can book a room at a higher level directly online, and I don’t need this price! And the room was obviously big enough, but she insisted that she couldn't add an extra bed. Ctrip's website says extra beds are available. In the end, it was handled through Ctrip, but the hotel manager was still disgusting and demanded a high price! I will not come to this hotel again!
The hotel is right next to the roadside and there is no parking space at the door. If it weren't for the fact that it was very close to the British Museum, I wouldn't have booked this place.
The waiters in the restaurant are very nice. The breakfast is a set menu, British style, delicious and generous. It seems that many local business people come to dine and negotiate.

I booked a superior room in a hurry. The room was small but very cozy. The service staff are very warm and friendly, the transportation is convenient, and there is a lot to visit around. I will definitely come back to this hotel!

My wife and I were thoroughly impressed by the hotel staff and service, the cleanliness, and the quality of everything from linens/towels, food, decor, etc. We were only there for two short nights, but the entire staff new us by name and my wife's birthday. We only ate breakfast and had some drinks at the bar, but both experiences were extremely nice. We would defintely stay here again.

The hotel deserves definitely 5 stars, as do the extremely nice and friendly staff. The location of the hotel is great - we were able to reach most of the sights on foot. Definitely the best recommendation for a hotel in this category in London.

Absolutely fantastic in every way. The staff and ambiance and uniqueness to this hotel are all outstanding. Loved the restaurant as well- highly recommend eating dinner there or afternoon tea on top of the wonderful breakfast. We now prefer this hotel to the rosewood where we preciously stayed.

I found this property at The Leaders Club site. A great location for exploring central London by foot or a tube station a block away. The service from everyone at L'Oscar was impeccable. The front desk was always extremely helpful. The staff at the bar and restaurant were excellent. We ate dinner at the restaurant our first night and it was one of the best meals we had during our week in London.
