Sofitel London St James is centrally located in Piccadilly Circus. It is convenient to get to everywhere. The tube station is very close, providing access to the Piccadilly line as well as Bakerloo lines. Technically you can go from Heathrow to the hotel almost painlessly on Piccadilly line (if u avoid the working traffic) The building is a classic, the design is modern and very well maintained. It feels very new and well kept. The room I was in was spacious, and can accommodate an extra bed if needed. Air conditioning is sufficient. The gym is very small though. Something to note. And it doesn't have a swimming pool. Breakfast is nice but not value for the buck. The staff are super courteous. They try everything to make your trip a lot more hassle free. I checked in early and checked out late, and traveling with family. So long as they can help, they will. Highly recommend this place. Will stay again next time.

Superd location, 5mins walk to Picadily Square, less than 10mins to Chinatown and Covent Garden. The hotel rooml relatively spacious and new.

The room is spacious and clean. The hotel staff is very polite and the service is warm and thoughtful.

The hotel's services are all very good, but the room has no view. Land in central London is very expensive, and when you open the window you can see the windows of the building opposite. However, the location is super good, within a 20-minute walk of Regent Street, Big Ben, and Chinatown for meals.

The hotel is next to the theatre where the Phantom of the Opera was shown, Trafalgar Square, which is very convenient. The room is relatively large and the facilities are new. The sanitation is good, which is in line with the consistent quality of Sofitel.

Breakfast is behind a rather secret door in the lobby. It is very beautiful inside. The morning is full of sunshine. It is half self-service and half order, and it is also delicious😋 The room is small (this is the case throughout the whole trip), and the orientation is not good, but the room I booked is also average price.

Very old hotel, obviously discriminating against Chinese people. Look at what's outside our window in the picture. Most rooms have a city view, but we were given the worst location. The hotel's facilities are not up to date, but they are reluctant to spend money on maintenance. First of all, you don't need to swipe your card to get on the elevator, which means anyone can get in. There is no sense of security. I called the food delivery at 10 o'clock in the evening, and they said that the food delivery waiter had gone off duty. I was really confused. Is this the service of a star hotel? We had to go out for dinner. We were obviously very tired and didn't want to go out. What's more outrageous is that after dinner, the hotel door was locked... I rang the doorbell and waited for a long time before someone came to open the door. It was more than 11 o'clock. Hotels of this price in London should not be of this standard. The room was also very unhygienic, with a lot of dust and uncleaned hair on the carpet. The dusty speaker was still an Apple 13 socket. I stayed in several hotels of the same price in London, and this one was the worst.
