The location is very good, the environment and facilities are very good, hygienic and clean, the room display is very comfortable, the facilities and equipment are complete and very high-end. The service was very good and the breakfast was great! Tang Dynasty gorgeous British style. Very good experience recommended.

Having just returned home from a stay at this wonderful hotel it really does deserve the very highest rating as a review....5* is just not enough! Customer service of the very highest standard, food of the highest quality, renovations and decor absolutely beautiful, Christmas decorations magical, beds probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in and a London experience like no other. To say we had a great time is a massive understatement! Hospitality of the highest standard and quality, this hotel is Inn keeping at its finest! Expensive yes (this is Mayfair) but what price perfection? Our sincere thanks to Sean the Director of Butlers and all the team that cared for us so well whilst in residence.

I was ill in hospital for 3 months last year and recently retired on ill health If it wasn’t for my wife I wouldn’t still be here We came here for a once in a lifetime experience and as a thank you to my wife From entering, the food, the service, the surroundings and the staff made it an amazing magical experience and worth every penny Meeting Rory Bremner was an added bonus and he was such a gentleman Thank you

My mother and I recently enjoyed a wonderful 4-night stay at The Dorchester. The location was perfect, the newly refurbished bedrooms are beautiful and the Christmas decorations in the lobby area, stunning. What stood out for us was the impeccable customer service, always delivered with a genuine smile. Kai on concierge, managed to make a restaurant reservation at a venue which had been fully booked weeks in advance, this really made our weekend memorable. Also, a special thank you to 3 stand out members of the team, Michaela, who always greeted us with such warmth and took the time to chat whenever we visited the promenade. Mikhael, brightened up our mornings at breakfast with attentive service and energy to match, and Somali who served our afternoon champagne and scones. It was a wonderful 4 days, we immensely enjoyed listening to the live pianist and singer in the Promenade. The Vesper bar was a great venue to enjoy a nightcap and we spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon making full use of the swimming pool at 45 Park Lane. There really was nothing to fault, thank you again, we cannot wait to return! x

Stayed here just for the Saturday night as a treat as we were having dinner at Alain Ducasse in the evening. Yes some may say extravagant for the night however worth every penny. This is our go to hotel when we stay in London purely because no matter who you are or how you speak, they treat you like royalty and the service is excellent. Breakfast is fabulous as was our dinner. Best hotel in London for sure! Traditional, classy, understated but fabulous!!!!

Certainly an experience not to be remembered, it has taken me a year to write this review. We booked the festive tea in the promenade. Unfortunately, I was on the sofa and my family were I'm chairs looking down on me. Plumped up cushion under, finally I could reach the table. We ordered the festive tea with champagne however the dramatics from the server's pouring certainly put me off ordering another glass. I can only describe it as hand theatrics, and it was very annoying. The wedding which we witnessed enter, I can only say were not a class act. Up and down the promenade, some barefoot, was tiresome throughout our experience, plus with the dramatic finger dance whilst pouring champagne, I truly thought what has happened to the Dorchester and diamond sandwiches. The entertainment was beautiful with a lovely trio however ended abruptly with the wedding guests having a punch up and knocking the decorations. I'm not too sure about their screening process or if it's a large wallet that they are looking for. However, I will remember this Afternoon Tea for all the wrong reasons, plus £500 later for 3!!

Beautiful, excellent location next to Hyde Park, comfortable beds/rooms and very helpful staff. You can have breakfast in the grill or behind the main lobby, where high tea is served, which is beautiful. Lots of options on the menu and the food is delicious. Restaurant’s inside the hotel are also excellent. It’s not the Dorchester’s fault but my only slight gripe is the clientele. It’s a lot of generational wealth and the behavior of some of the guests is off putting. But it does make for fun people watching. 😂 Again, this isn’t the hotel’s fault, just an observation.
