I was worried because there were no reviews, but it was better than I thought. The single room is full when you open a large suitcase, but I think it's okay for the price if you use it alone. All the staff are very friendly. There is no elevator, but they will bring your luggage up to the room and take it down. The English breakfast is also delicious. However, if you are a woman, it would be better to bring your own hairdryer. When I checked out, they said that it has only been open for 3 weeks and they are making many improvements, so there may be some later. There is no noise and the surrounding area is safe. It is also about a 10-minute walk to the underground station. I recommend it if you are looking for a British-style accommodation with good value for money.

The room smelled horrible and the carpet was extremely dirty. They booked our breakfast for 8:00 and when we were there, there was no vacant seat. we had to go back to our room and come back later.

Fik et kælder værelse der virkede nusset, og som lå lige under der man spiser morgenmad værelset var meget lydt, hvilket gjorde at vi fra tidlig morgen hørte en masse larm og skramlen fra spisesalen hvilket gjorde at vi ikke sov specielt længe. Sengen var frygtelig den knirkede i vildskab og komforten var dårlig. Gardinerne var desværre ikke mørklægning så der var rimelig lyst igennem natten også. Generelt var værelset lille og slidt og inventaret ikke nyt og indbydende badeværelset var lille og slidt, bruseren var utæt og sprøjtede sjovt. Synes ikke det var pengene værd når man ser på helhedsbilledet. Måske det bare er standarten ved en London rejse. Positivt var at der var varmt vand til bad, at der var kedel og kaffe/te til en kop morgenkaffe. At der var høfligt personale. Morgenmaden var ok ikke det store udvalg, men alligevel en god start på dagen.

Underbart litet hotell med superservice. Fantastisk utsikt från rummet, blommande mimosa. Bra frukost och otroligt vänlig och tillmötesgående personal. Bra läge med gångavstånd till många av Londons centrala delar.

Prisvärt hotell på bra läge
Jag har bott flera gånger på olika hotell på Gower Street, området är ganska lugnt och ligger på gångavstånd från de flesta teater och opera, nära till tunnelbana och tåg.
The Marker Hotel är ett typiskt enkelt mindre hotell i London. Ligger likt de flesta andra i ett äldre hus, ljudisoleringen är inte den bästa, hiss saknas och rummen är små.
Men sängarna är fräscha och det är välstädat. Fräscha badrum. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam. Engelsk frukost samt youghurt och bakverk. Det finns bättre hotell i London, men de kostar oftast betydligt mer.

Je ne regrette pas mon choix. Personnel adorable, hôtel très propre (chambre faite tous les matins), petit déjeuner simple mais complet, proche centre Londres, pas de bruit. Seul bémol, dans ma chambre le lit était très mou.
Mais lors de mon prochain séjour, je prendrai le même hotel

Simple et efficace
Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cette hôtel en famille.
Le personnel est très disponible et réactif, le petit déjeuner est compris dans la nuitée, il est servi à l assiette et une petite zone est a volonté.
L hôtel est très bien desservi le quartier est fort agréable.
Si nous devons retourner à Londres nous retournons sûrement ici
