The hotel is amazing and we spent 3 perfect days there. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly, making you feel like being home. We did the trip to Gili Island with them and it’s high recommended. The SPA is great too. 👍

What to say……? Never in all our many travels have we come across such a tremendous, helpful, hard-working and utterly dedicated hotel staff as at Tugu Lombok. There are no words to express our gratitude. I’m sure some readers of this will sneer at my comments or think I’m exaggerating. But I’m not. When we arrived at Tugu, incubating a severe illness (though we didn’t know it), four of the staff took us to the local hospital. Not just this, but provided us with all our needs and stayed with us throughout the night tending to us, and continued to do so for the next four days. Without them I shudder to think what we would have done. And that is not an exaggeration. Whilst recovering, nothing was too much trouble for them once we were back at Tugu. Our sincere thanks to Faisal, the manager, Ruslan, the deputy manager and all the staff who were so kind. And since our return we’ve had emails asking after our health and well-being. To those who swear by the big well-known international chain hotels, I would suggest that this level of care and commitment will simply never happen in them. As to Tugu Lombok hotel itself, we can thoroughly recommend it; beautiful tranquil gardens and grounds leading to the beach. Our room was great, and very well appointed, and maintained, as was the entire hotel. Of similar quality was the restaurant and food.

Excellent, But….
The hotel ground is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is outstanding! The rooms need improvements: a lot of items we had to have it fixed after check in. They were eager to fix everything and please us. AC was weak throughout our stay. Bathtub/shower drain was very slow…rooms are very dark, gloomy. Overall is a very nice hotel. The pools, statues throughout property, restaurants all gorgeous.

Can’t say enough about Tugu and its staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. We had an early flight to catch and they had breakfast prepared for us at 6am, usually not available until 7am. Highly recommend staying here.

nestled at beachside northern part of lombok, this resort offers a wide array of breakfast and also complimentary afternoon tea. topped up with indigenous java - sasak culture in every elements around all premises that brings visitors to take a glimpse of majapahit influence during its former glory. i had a really wonderful stay here with my mom. the hospitable staffs are the very heartbeat of the resort whom always remember all of our names, offers a very personalized service. this hotel is a true rolemodel of luxury resorts at lombok. looking forwaed to visit again

The location of the hotel is fantastic and beautiful for those who appreciate peace and seclusion. Those who want entertainment and nightlife will be rather unhappy here. The hotel is located directly on a very long and almost completely deserted beach, which can sometimes give you that Robinson Crusoe feeling. The sea is calm and the entrance is easy, with no rocks or sudden shallows. Wonderful! Our pool villa was large with an indoor and outdoor bathroom and a plunge pool directly in front of the exit to the beach. As with all Tugu Hotels, the interior is designed in Indonesian style, with lots of old and impressive furniture. This may not suit everyone's taste, as we have already read, but it certainly suits ours. On the beach, two loungers were always prepared for us early in the morning - and decorated with a bouquet of flowers. Our package also included two romantic dinners, one on the beach and the other at an ancient temple complex. It was wonderful, even a small bonfire and a small firework display were prepared. Great! Our private snorkelling trip to the Gili Islands on the hotel boat was also great! The guide knew his way around very well, so we were able to observe the many corals, colourful fish and sea turtles with him alone and in peace. The restaurant left nothing to be desired, Indonesian or Western cuisine, everything was prepared quickly. But what we liked best was the staff, who lovingly looked after us all day.
