All of the pictures are surprisingly deceptive, the actual place is dystopianly grungey looking- almost as if the pictures were taken 40 years ago and no one has done any refurb since. We were asked to pay for our rooms on arrival despite having pre-paid the full amount... it's lucky my friend realised at the last minute... suspicious. We had two rooms- aircon was broken in one and light switches broken in the other. They moved our rooms and the aircon was still broken in the second room. The bathrooms/amenities look very grim. There's nothing luxurious about this place unless you've perhaps been backpacking at hostels for a long while. We asked to leave because of the poor quality of the hotel and after some waiting around for management discussion we were told they would refund us and we could leave. We asked when the refund would be submitted and they said they'd already done it and now the refund was with ***********. Imagine our surprise when after leaving the hotel and raising this with ***********, the hotel refused to refund us the amount and didn't acknowledge telling us they would refund us. Eventually after some back and forth they refunded us the rooms. Terrible experience.
