Kyriad Blois Sud - Vineuil

Easy to find and well located just a 5 minute drive into Blois. Lovely friendly check in and we had a garden room as requested due to having our dog. Access from our room straight onto the garden area was perfect for us. Nice breakfast which we found to be good value for money. The hotel has pleasant garden areas to sit in. Our room was not large but ok if just sleeping in it. There is a great reception area to use anyway so not an issue for us. Recommend going to Parc Des Meers (especially if you have children or a dog).
Ibis Styles Blois Centre Gare

When we arrived the place looked like we were in the wrong part of town. There is a private parking garage which is accessible from the back of the hotel on foot but on a bike the entrance is a bit steep if you need to press the button to call the reception for access. The room was rather small and the bar was in the reception area. Staff were friendly and breakfast was OK but not as good as we have had in other Ibis. Bit of a walk into town, about 10/15 minutes before you get anywhere on the outskirts. It was our first night on a trip and we felt disappointed.l
Hotel Anne de Bretagne Blois

Very friendly staff at reception and breakfast. Accomodation of the bicycles war very convenient and good. Check-in was somehow complicated as all guests where asked about their preferences for the breakfast (croissant wanted or not, with chocolade or not? Normally you would expect the hotel does its planning by themselves based on experience). Hotel apparently was packed and full. We got a very very small room with no air condition with windows to the road and railway direct below us. Due to the enormous heat and noise it was almost impossible to have a good sleep. The bath room with the shower was ok. But the bed was put into a corner with only one ”entrance” so you had to step over your partner to reach your bed.
Best Western Blois Chateau

I chosed this hotel based on positive ratings by Tripadvisor travellers. The room was bigger than expected, with a huge bathroom. I could open the window to feel the outside air. Everything very clean, well smelling, very comfortable bed. The front desk attendants are lovely and always helpful. They have no parking, but it is easy and cheap to use public parking few meters away. We prefer local bakeries, therefore I can't comment on the breakfast. Wifi seemed to be a bit unstable late at night. Next time I intend to stay in the same hotel, it is just a 7 minute walk from restaurants, bars and shops, I really recommend it.
Château de Colliers

In order to facilitate the visit to the Chambord with its 500th anniversary of history, we specially booked this very old, quiet and legendary small castle hotel. Ctrip's navigation is accurate, self-driving cars are easy to find, and the main road is a short turn into, and the car is parked in a wide yard and free of charge. The courtyard is large, and you can enjoy the cool in the evening. It is very comfortable. The front and back courtyards have a good view, right by the river. The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated and fully functional. There are dozens of rooms such as a living room, a dining room, and a small library. The old key opens the two door locks, and the room is warm, clean and comfortable. The triple room is spacious. Both windows and doors near the window can be opened. There are two bathrooms, carpet floor, dressing table, fireplace, wardrobe and other old furniture. No dinner is provided, but the pure Western breakfast is very rich, fresh and delicious! Very suitable for a quiet holiday!
