Came to Mill Forge to get married and it was wonderful. The staff are fantastic and the wedding was PERFECT and just what we wanted. Just the two of us and no fuss. They provided the witnesses and we had the lovely Sandy as the minister that married us. The lovely Sam who we booked it with was one of the witnesses and took all our photos for us. ALL the staff were so warm and welcoming. Thank You…We’ll treasure the memory!!!

We chose the Mill Forge for the destination to marry and we are very thankful and glad that we did. They made us both feel welcome and looked after from when we arrived for lunch the day before our ceremony to having the evening meal the day before to breakfast to the ceremony and after. Truly was a magical unique and personal experience. The bridal suite number 31 was beautiful and a perfect place for us to rest and get ready. The meal on our wedding day was delicious and everyone was very friendly. A huge thank you to Carrie, Sandy, Debbie and Complete Bride as well for making our day special and the receptionist for helping my now husband with his button hole. We will remember you forever and be sure to pass through in our future.

We got married here beginning of August. Perfect from start to finish, staff were amazing, especially Fiona who was lovely and put me at ease on the day. They arranged everything with one of the packages they do, piper , photos, hair and makeup, absolutely faultless, we stayed in the bridal suite room 33, which was massive and spotlessly clean, massive whirlpool bath and shower with twin sinks and four poster bed. Food was lovely, would highly recommend anyone wanting an intimate wedding or a big wedding or even a few nights away in a lovely setting. Beautiful gardens, nearest shops I think are gretna maybe. We will definitely be back for our anniversary. Thanks so much Alison and Ian

We got married at the Mill Forge on 7th August it was perfect from start to finish. We had a beautiful bridal suite with complimentary bottle of fizz and chocolates which were a lovely touch. The wedding meal was delicious , the ceremony was very special and we were guided through what would happen on the day . The staff were very welcoming and friendly we had a great and very special day thank you to everyone who contributed to this .

Very pleasant stay , it is a very popular wedding venue , there were quite a few whilst we were there . Rooms are on the small side , but very comfortable, nice and clean , lovely bed . Food was good , great breakfast . Rooms are all around the site , you have to walk to restaurant and bar , the breakfast room is upstairs , but arrangements can be made to dine on the ground floor . Lovely, friendly staff . Overall a great 2 day break !

We got married here just the 2 of us on the 26/7. From booking and right up to the wedding itself, everything was stress free and well organised. The bridal suite was clean and spacious, food was delicious and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had the best day and definitely recommend The Mill to other couples for their special day.

Got married here in July had a lovely ceremony wedding cake handed in staff didn't put in fridge or cool room was asked if we wanted it in the answer was yes cake ruined guests seen it lying out from before 11 in the morning we weren't getting married intill 4 dinner wasn't till 5.30 cake ruined icing rolled off with heat staff tried to fix it made it worse scrapped all icing off absloutley devastated as it was a gift manager said it it wasnt made clear where we wanted it yes it was offered a overnight stay in a years time which we declined as it left a very bad taste in our mouths so basically all they said was sorry food not so great steak was awful was sent back
