Dryfesdale Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Check in approx 6.30pm . Ask to book table all booked , I repied thanks for telling me on the phone 3 Ladies with rips in the tights and with base ball boots Holes in the room carpets . No Draught Beer the Bar was shocking Breatfast showing open food area , chef walking several yards bring open food to the hot places . Very unhygienic . Wet eggs very untidy . Very un proffesional

Used this hotel for our wedding and it didn't disappoint. Absolutely beautiful inside and out and photos really don't do it justice. Made us and our guests feel really welcome and will definitely go back in the future. Special mention to the actual room, me and my bride had to bring the kids with us so the hotel provided a bridal suite with an adjoining double room for the kids, providing us privacy and yet keeping the kids in close proximity.

No active restaurant No restaurant available due to ‘Annual gas check’. This was not notified or pre-warned.

Check in was fine , ample parking, food and drink service was not so good . Unable to pour a pint . Food took ages the reason being they was defrosting the pie . It came with 5 chips .

AVOID HAVING A WEDDING! . The hotel and grounds itself absolutely stunning , our rooms WE had stunning however for the customer service from the manager and the staff … disgusting. Completely ruined my mother’s wedding , very rude and controlling, would not listen to a word you said … walking to her husband to be (meant to be the most speak part him seeing you for the first time ) was completely ruined because he would not let us speak “I’ve done this for 20yrs” the song hadn’t even started and she was at the end, no song during the signing the register, couldn’t get it on ?? . Plastic found in a guest soup?! , staff barely smiled , no bar whilst the bride gets ready for wedding at 2pm , no bar in the function room, no music in the bar room whilst people waiting for the sit down meal - had to use our own speaker?! . The night time buffet- 🙈 served on teacup saucers 😂, thrown on table chips , sausage rolls and sandwiches from Asda £250 for 20 people ?? Other Guest arrived by couch who started to try and access our rooms and encourage our children to kiss so they can take pictures to which the manager spoke to them about then fled the hotel ? Before my mother’s wedding she tired to discuss the final bill which he refused to give her and then bang £600 onto of the original price . I won’t keep going on , like I said beautiful hotel but GLEN needs some training in customer service and the importance of that special day

Very pleasant small hotel with very good food rivalling 4* hotels. Excellent bathroom with a shower that stays where it was put and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Helpful and pleasant staff. Take a look at the Lockerbie Pan-Am disaster memorial.
