Many times in Mallorca but first time in Sa Coma and this hotel was the perfect choice for what we wanted for a relaxing adults only week away. If you want something lively it’s well located between Sa Coma and S’illot and a short walk to the bustling front and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops in the vicinity. Perfectly good beaches in each resort also easily accessible within a 5 to 10 minute walk The hotel itself is really nice. Large comfortable rooms which are spotless and very well kitted out. Good size balcony - great for morning coffee, pre-dinner drinks and nightcaps. The pool and gardens (beautifully manicured) are styled like an oasis which make for a very attractive outside area. Bars, (pool and hotel) and the restaurant provide all the refreshments required and the food is excellent quality whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. One word of warning here - if you lunch at the pool bar, the food is delicious but some of the portions can be quite large and best shared. My wife had the pamboli starter one day and although it tasted great, it could have easily done 2 and possibly even 3! Sadly over half went to waste as I’d also ordered a substantial sandwich (delicious misto palace) and couldn’t really help her with it! Unless you have a HUGE appetite most meals on the menu can be shared for a light lunch. Worth mentioning the sangria at the pool bar is the perfect lunchtime drink on a hot Mallorcan day! We booked the buffet restaurant on a couple of evenings and the Al a carte (Es Moli) as well. The buffet is exceptionally high quality considering it is catering for a large number of guests and the food is fresh, varied and, overall, very tasty. Es Moli deserves a special mention as the food is fantastic and although it’s slightly more costly than other eateries you will find in the area, it’s well worth it for the lovely food and first class service. The hotel staff are really friendly and very accommodating to meet all guests needs. I’ve read one review which stated this seemed forced and a little “put on” but we are seasoned travellers and have a very good sense of when someone is actually enjoying doing their job and genuinely engaging with guests. Trust me, these guys understand customer service with a smile and how to deliver it properly in the hospitality industry. Couldn’t fault any of them! All in all we had a fantastic week and apart from maybe turning the volume down slightly on the Thursday/Sunday pool party music (sorry, age thing!!) nothing we could really fault. Just to finish and addressing other reviewers comments about early risers to put towels on sunbeds. We normally went for breakfast around 9.00 and dropped our towels on a couple of beds going past. Unless you are desperate to have a particular spot (we weren’t) there are plenty of beds available well up to lunchtime - and after some days. Point is, not worth stressing about. Earliest I saw towels out was around 7.30 when we had our morning coffee on the balcony.
