Milverton House

great 3 night stay in gorgeous weather. such great place to get everywhere you need to in minutes . lovely and peaceful guest house. lovely and spotless fresh room with a delicious breakfast great options beautiful plants in the front garden make it stand out linda fabulous host look forward to third visit in future

My parents and I stayed at Milverton House for three nights between June 30th and July 3rd, 2025. Linda was helpful and friendly on our arrival, and we were all impressed with our rooms. The bathrooms were so clean and the views from our windows was more than we could have expected. Breakfast is served between 8am - 9am. As a type 1 diabetic, I rarely eat early in the morning when I'm away, but Linda kindly offered fruit and various other options. The traditional full English breakfast, cooked fresh in the kitchen, is a great start to the day! :-) Daily requirements of teas, coffees and condiments can be collected after breakfast where guests just take whatever is needed before heading out for the day. Llandudno itself has everything you need for a few days away from the daily grind. Dozens of bars and cafes all within a mile or so, and who doesn't love a Wetherspoons for familiar meals and cheap drinks? The Palladium, originally a cinema, was built in 1920 and retains its early twentieth century charm. And Llandudno beach speaks for itself in the photos. It's a beautiful spot for ocean-lovers looking to unwind for a few days. Aside from boutiques and seaside giftshops, the doorstep town has plenty of stores like Sainsbury's Local, Boots, Pavers, Waterstones, and The Body Shop. A little further down the road is 'Llandudno Shopping Park' with M&S, River Island, JD Sports, and The Range. There is also an Asda superstore within walking distance of the retail park. If you're looking for a clean, ideally positioned hotel just a few strides from both the beach and Llandudno high street, you won't find better than Milverton House. There is a lift in the hotel lobby, which is so helpful for anyone who struggles to climb staircases. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely be going back to Milverton House again soon. :) P.S. If you want to witness a very bizarre 'trick of the eye', stand on the beach in the daytime and gaze across the Irish sea at the wind farm. Then do the same thing after 7pm and see how much closer and defined they look. This was the fourth time we've been to Llandudno in the past three years, and it never ceases to amaze me.
