Hotels near Premier, Liverpool

Best Premier Inn…. Here with work but look forward to a return visit when not. Staff are well organised and are always willing to help or answer a question. Can see there is a top down approach to the running of the Hotel… very good teamwork demonstrated. Apologies for those names I miss, Paige, Claire and others on reception always a nice greeting even near the end of their shift, Courtney and Julia absolute joy, it’s nice to be nice, Bar and Dinning area and in general a big thank you to all the staff, including cleaners, Chefs, Night Porter, for making me feel comfortable and welcomed. This guest house is Ok but not for everyone. It sits on a very busy intersection of a main road and therefore the front rooms are a little noisy except for those that have been triple glazed. The towel in my room was a very old hand towel although I did notice nicer towels in other rooms. This place is OK but the communal areas really need to be redone. Staff are friendly and helpful, the place feels safe as they have CCTV up everywhere and there is plenty of parking available behind an electric gate. Fast food nearby (24hr McDonalds) + KFC as well as a TESCO supermarket 10mins walk from the place. Train station with frequent trains into central Liverpool GBP3.60 return (7Mins).

If you are heading to Anfield Stadium for a match, this hotel should be one of your best choices. At the very beginning, I thought it was a bit far away from the city centre, however, in fact there are quite a number of bus service to the city centre with just around 15 mins. Ok, by Google map, 30 mins on foot to Anfield. A bit far away? Trust me, you will end up spending an hour to queue for a bus. 30 mins walking back to the hotel definitely is the best choice. Just next to a supermarket where you can buy bottle water, next to Mcdonald as well. Walking back to the hotel and enjoy a British Pub food is also a nice choice. Staffs are friendly, and provide useful tips. Helped me to print out my broading pass. To conclude, my 3 nights stay was worthy!

On arrival we were greeted by Julie with a big smile for us ! She was extremely helpful, courteous and made a real difference to our stay. A great ambassador for Travelodge and Liverpool. Our room was exceptionally clean with crisp sheets and big snow white fluffy towels, a big well done to the support staff. Plenty of tea etc which can be replenished at reception. The Travelodge is situated on a retail park with a variety of eating establishments, a pub five minutes away, so food is readily available. If you want to leave the car, a bus service stops right outside that goes into Liverpool centre for shopping.

We booked eight rooms at the Mountford, only to find that the rooms were quite old, musky and very small. There was hardly any room to manoeuvre as the double bed took most of the room. The superior double room rooms were better as they were much more spacious. Most of the staff were friendly. There were a few staff in particular the two male members of staff who were on duty whilst we were there on August 16 and 17th who came across, quite rude. The taller guy in particular was extremely grumpy. I had left a bag downstairs in the breakfast area and he followed me down the stairs, mumbling something as if I was going to rob something from the canteen. He then accused of not returning a room key and gave us very little time to check with other family members. We had booked this hotel previously for our mothers ashes and this time for our sisters ashes. We were promised a 5% discount to which we weren’t given. Under the sad circumstances we did not feel supported. Breakfast was minimum there was cereal, boiled egg only and a few cold meats and cheeses. No fry up. Not sure we would book here again. Sorry if the feedback is negative but this is how we felt. What are the very most positive things where are they guest who stayed there were very friendly and the bar area was a good social meeting area.

還不錯，主要離球場非常近，走路幾分鐘就到，位置絕對好，斜對面加油站內有便利店，如果需要做飯可以買到簡單的菜品，外出吃飯的選擇不多，附近都比較冷清，因為第一次訂民宿沒經驗，不知道是無接觸入住的，一定記得看郵箱有房間密碼，有問題也可以打電話或者發郵件

we came back from an event approx midnight. asked for 2 glasses of red wine at the bar. staff member offered us a number of bottles . we picked one, she opened it. then the duty manager turned up and said that this wine wasn’t available by the glass only by the bottle. ( which was £55) we explained that we were offered this option by the bar staff but he still said no. bar staff then had to put the cork back in the bottle. we asked how they could do that when it could only bought by the bottle and no customer would buy a bottle of wine that had already been opened. no change. out of courtesy to the bar staff we agreed to pick another red wine. turns out they only had one glass left of that one and no spares . therefore we ended up with our 3rd choice option. this all took 45mns from order to serve. some of the worst hotel service we have ever had.

If you are looking for a bare bones hotel in a great location close to Anfield, this will be just fine. 3 minute walk to stadium and great atmosphere on game day with large crowd. However, hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired, at least to American standards. Room was very cold- no thermostats or heater. We were freezing! Bed not comfortable. Very few products provided, including hand soap that was empty. No blow dryer provided in room. Hotel advertised luggage storage, but refused to store bags for a couple hours on our departure day so we had to spend £20 to store bags with a guy across the street (who was great). The shower was hard to get into (strange large step down into it), but the water pressure was great and water hot. Overall, there are much better places to stay in Liverpool. If you aren’t picky, might be fine for a night or two to attend a game, but we regret booking here. It’s only a 10 minute Uber ride from the dock/city center area, and we wish we would have stayed in that area.

Wonderful service, very curtious and helpful staff. Excellent location next to the beautiful park, and with Lark lane nearby there's a plenty of places to eat and entertain you. The local people are equally welcoming, friendly and entertaining. And this hotel is a must visit for any Beatles fans out there!
