Spotless rooms with a friendly, very informative host in a quiet but convenient location in Liverpool with a perfect continental breakfast.
We will certainly return as this is the nicest place we have ever stayed in Liverpool

This is a charming B&B within walking distance of the centre of Liverpool, with on street parking and WiFi. We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting an open day at the University of Liverpool and highly recommend this as a great place to stay. John is an excellent host. He provided really useful tips for the local area, including dining recommendations. The rooms are large and very nicely furnished. If you are looking for a travelodge style accommodation - stay elsewhere - this is comfortable, quirky and unique. Breakfast was a good continental style breakfast with coffee/tea, juice, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold meats and cold eggs. Hot toast and croissant with jam/honey /Nutella were also provided which gave us all enough options to enjoy.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at square tree house. It's very conveniently situated in walking distance of the city centre, but far away enough to be in a peaceful area. We felt very looked after and nurtured, every little thing was thought of right down to usb charging ports by the (beautiful antique) bed. We slept really well, the en suite was clean and generously stocked with toiletries, towels and face cloths. The shower was lovely and hot.
Breakfast was delicious, so much food including hand roasted almonds and it was such a treat having tea and coffee made for us by John. John is a wonderful host and good company. Diolch yn fawr!

Great, peaceful location, spacious accommodation in the garden-facing room, beautifully furnished, with a sense of grandeur. Parking near or outside the accommodation. A short walk to the nearest bus stop for a 20 minute ride in to the City Centre. A warm welcome from the get-go by the informative and helpful front-of-house John. And not forgetting Fan, his partner. Thankyou Fan and John for making our 4 days in Liverpool such a pleasurable experience.

Three couples stayed overnight , each room different but all tastefully decorated in keeping with the property.
Very clean, beds very comfortable .
Host friendly and helpful.
