The Liverpool Inn Hotel

The hotel service is still very good, and clean and tidy, but the room is not only completely without views, but also very noisy, closed the window can not stop the noise of the machine next door, making it difficult to sleep.

Nice clean room, shame about the receptionist. We arrived at the front door around 4pm where we rang a bell for attention. After a couple of minutes we rang the bell again and then the receptionist came thundering down the stairs mouthing at us and pointing to a hand written note on the window which said “ring once”. When he let us in, there was no “hello, welcome to Liverpool”, instead all the way up the stairs he was moaning about the bell being rung more than once, even when we apologised he wouldn’t stop whinging about how he is on his own and we should be patient. First impressions count, this guy is in the wrong job. After he picked his dummy back up he eventually apologised, and showed us to our rooms. The room we were in was clean and tidy to be fair. I would actually stay there again, if only to ring the bell a couple of times again 🤣🤣. Seriously, not a bad place once the receptionist has had his rant. Fair price, clean room, good central location.

Very welcoming & great service. Room was clean and everything worked just right. Also in a good central location in the city.

Whistle Stop in Liverpool It was a quick visit through Liverpool and it offered everything we needed, but the shower had black mold in the seams and it would be nice to have a top sheet instead of only a comforter to use as a cover. I doubt those big, thick comforters get washed and dried after every guest, that is not sustainable.

Lovely friendly little hotel right in the heart of town. I think the only downside was the noise from other rooms and the corridor was a little intrusive. Nothing out of order just possibly an older building not being soundproofed. That said I'd happily stay here again.
