The Ivens, Autograph Collection

My husband and I spent the latter half of our honeymoon in Lisbon, and we couldn’t be happier we decided to stay at The Ivens. From the moment our Uber pulled up, the front doormen immediately opened our doors and took our luggage for us. We were greeted by the staff and went straight to check-in, which was a very smooth process. The front desk even provided us Prosecco to sip on while our room cards were being created. Before we got to our room, all the amenities were explained to us and the concierge team were so friendly and informative- insisting we let them know if there was anything they can help with- even suggestions on where to go for fun. Within minutes of entering our room, our luggage was brought up to us and the rooms are very modern, and extremely clean/well-kept. I cannot stress how amazing the location is and how BEAUTIFUL the hotel is. The entire entrance alone is IG-photo worthy. The gastro-pub and restaurant attached are also very well known. We were able to have drinks and eat at both during our stay, and it was very convenient to ask concierge to make the reservation for us. We were also surprised by the incredibly sweet gestures of notes and treats from management to congratulate us on our honeymoon. Room service also did a phenomenal job of always facilitating a tidy room to come back to after a long day of being tourists. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so memorable and luxurious. I will certainly be coming back to The Ivens.

Hands-down, The Ivens is one of the best hotels we have stayed at, and we have stayed at hotels all over the world. What makes it stand out is the beauty of the hotel, it’s loneliness and most importantly it’s Staff). A special shout out to the concierge team, Sophia, Tomas and the others whose names I do not recall. And the restaurant, Rocco, is outstanding serving some of the best Italian food. Thank you for a truly wonderful and memorable stay

A quite expensive but very nice boutique hotel in a great part of the city. The restaurant Rocco and bar is the centre of entertainment. The food was superb, beautifully presented and very tasty. Would high recommend for a great meal and drink before hand.

Beautifully designed hotel with a gorgeous bar and dining areas. So fun and colorful. Perfect location. The rooms are on the small side, but very clean and fresh and the bathroom shower is a nice size with great water pressure. The beds are comfy with fluffy pillows. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We dined at Rocco and our meal was fantastic! Beautiful breakfast buffet and you can also order off the menu. This hotel has a great vibe!

Chic safari vibe here- loved it. Wanted to be near quaint area instead off main busy shopping areas so this was perfect. Had a corner room & loved that they had little balcony’s to step out on to see out. A few stairs to get down into the lobby entrance & then an elevator to check in level & to rooms. Decor was the best. Ivens was an explorer & theme based on his explorations. Then… for real Portugal head out to the Tile Museum or grab a taxi & tour around. We did that quickly & saw so much in our 1 day there.

Wonderful hotel! Highly recommended. The bar is fantastic. Breakfast is great. Rooms and bathroom are generous. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location - a little out of the hustle and bustle but close enough with a short walk. In a lively neighborhood. Rooms are comfortable and we slept great.

Very impressed with this hotel!! The location is great, the decor is classy, the workers are truly nice and always ready to be helpful! Nearby is a gelato shop named Amorino with a to-die-for dark chocolate, also nearby is Tapas n' Friends and Livraria Bertrand, the world's oldest bookstore!!!
