Alfama Yellow House

Прекрасное расположение отеля в сердце старого города: узкие улочки, маленькие кафе, фадо, ярмарки. 10-15 минут пешком до всех главных достопримечательностей, смотровых площадок - очень удобно. Рядом есть кафе, магазины, остановка трамвая. Очень быстрый, приятный сервис. Мой консьерж Мануэль был на связи 24/7, быстро решал все проблемы: куда сходить, как добраться, вызывал такси (очень удобно в отсутствии не русской карты). В номере было тихо, чисто.

We got the blue house, the ground floor. At the entrance the door was ridiculously narrow, be careful if there are elderly or handicapped people, in which the door did not close properly due to the humidity of the wood and had to be forced. It was a hole with no ventilation, unless you opened the door to the street. You could hear absolutely everything on the street. Right next to the door there was a downspout, and it rained on us two nights, without sleeping a wink because you could hear the clonk clonk, of the water as if it were inside the room. In the room there was a closet on the wall that could not be opened, there was a high window that could only be opened with a ladder that they had behind the door... In the room the wifi did not work and zero coverage and incredible humidity !! There was fungus on the wall!! The bathroom...cleanliness was very poor. Smell of sewage, mold in the shower... and dead mosquitoes on the wall... we stayed 4 nights and only had 2 towels. And a roll and a half of paper for 5 days... The only good thing is that it is in the heart of Alfama, next to tram 28. And the center is about 15 minutes walk away. For the price you pay, very expensive. I do not recommend it.
