Sitio Dos Cavaleiros Apartments

Our hosts were Mayane, Laura,and Margarita. They set the bar for excellence in customer service. They sure welcomed us and made us feel at home. Mayane was kind enough to research all the gluten free restaurants in Lisbon as my daughter has Celiac’s. We so appreciated this!! She also made sure a taxi showed up at 7 am to drive us back to the airport when we were leaving. Great central location walking distance to Martin Moniz metro station. Near all amenities: grocery stores, souvenir shops, a variety of nice restaurants to fit all budgets. The duplex has a kitchenette on first floor as well as a dining room and living room with a pullout queen bed. Very comfy. The upstairs has two twin beds, a huge window with a nice solarium window as well. Provides lots of light. Two bathrooms…one downstairs and one upstairs. The downstairs one includes a tub with jets. My kids loved it! The appartement also contains a safe, an alarm system, ironing board, washer and dryer, microwave, fridge, and stove. We had a wonderfully memorable stay which we will talk about for years to come. I will not hesitate to return to this hotel when I am in Lisbon.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The customer service of Mayane, Laura, and Margarita exceeded all my expectations. They took super good care of us. My daughter has Celiac’s disease and therefore cannot eat anything with gluten in it. They provided me with a list of gluten free restaurants in Lisbon. Fantastic service. They also made sure a cab was able to meet us at the property at 7 am on the day of our departure. Superb service! Thank you ladies for setting the bar of excellent service. My kids and I had a wonderful time and are so very grateful for the excellent service. The location is in the old part of the city near the Martim Moniz metro station. It is near all amenities…a few grocery shops, restaurants, souvenir shops. We rented the duplex apartment. It has two full bathrooms. It has AC on both floors as well as dishes, a kitchenette, a safe, an alarm system. We felt very safe. The downs that a foldout couch bed and the upstairs has two twin beds. If we ever have the pleasure of visiting Lisbon again, we will definitely stay here again. 5 stars! *****

We are a family of five, including young children. The staff were very friendly and professional, even though we had some special requests. The apartment itself was very well appointed and maintained. WiFi was very strong. I recommend it!

We had 5 balconies overlooking a lively cobblestone street. The staff were excellent, the rooms were spacious and clean. The location was ideal, right in the middle of the old town. I highly recommend this place.

All in all, the apartment was an excellent place to stay. The suite was clean and well maintained. I appreciated the breakfasts (which are delivered to your door at 7:30 AM) which saved me the hassle of finding a diner, and let me begin my day well-fed. Also, having a full kitchen was a great convenience. The location of the establishment was convenient, as it is located on a quiet side street, yet it is within walking distance to major plazas and to a Metro station. I highly recommend this establishment.

We are a family of four and booked the two bedroom apartment. Communication prior to our arrival was perfect and timely. The apartment is beautiful and spacious and has every amenity you would need. I particularly appreciated the daily cleaning (included), the excellent coffee and sugar, the laundry detergent and fabric conditioner, shampoo, shower gel and hair conditioner and tvs with English speaking channels. There is a safe and the apartment also has an alarm system. We slept with windows open. Did not need the a/c. We had a king bed in one room and a queen in the other. It’s possible to request other configurations. There are small markets on the street and almost directly across the street, a store with excellent fruit, milk and a small selection of groceries. The shop owner is a very nice gentleman. The apartment is walking distance to the castle (uphill) and the famous 28 tram is just 5 minutes away. Full disclosure - I booked the apartment without knowing the city and before I looked at a guidebook. I was concerned when I saw the neighborhood classified as “gritty” and “up and coming”. The neighborhood was perfectly safe during the day and we did not feel in any way nervous. At night, we took Ubers back to the apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the apartment for 2 nights and it was beautiful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were extremely informative and helpful. The apartments are perfectly located to get around the city. We had a problem with the shower. It only took a text message to get this resolved. It’s was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
