Good location

We had an amazing time at Bessa Hotel. Staff was super friendly. The room very clean and big enough for us. Amenities good quality. Breakfast with lots of options and the delicious pastéis de natal! Also I can highlight the location as you are at walking distance of lots of nice restaurants bars and tourist places. For sure we will be back!

An old tourist hotel with a good location at the top of Liberty Avenue, convenient to go anywhere. There are many Chinese guests, but it is obvious that they are more enthusiastic towards European and American guests and are relatively cold towards Chinese. In fact, there are still many Chinese guests, and they should be considered the main source of customers. During the three-day stay, only the first day provided mineral water according to the number of people, and there was no water for the next two days, so you have to go out to buy water yourself. I communicated with the front desk and they reluctantly sent two bottles. Later, I was too lazy to ask for more and went up the hill to buy them. Logically, if the check-in is separated into three days, should it be provided every day? The breakfast is OK, not rich but OK, and the menu is exactly the same every day. Finally, I have to add that I took a taxi four times in Lisbon and was blackmailed by the driver twice, and the price was increased for no reason. I was very speechless. The whole city is very shabby and I don’t want to come to the city again.

Except the room is a bit small, everything else is very good. The hotel is in a great location, very convenient to go anywhere, there is a subway downstairs.

The hotel is located in the center of Lisbon, and it is convenient to take a taxi or bus. The breakfast is rich and the rooms are spacious and clean. The disadvantage is that the hotel's underground garage is located in the alley on the left side of the gate. It is only a dozen meters away from the gate, but because of the one-way street, you have to go around in circles. In the center of Lisbon, Amap and Baidu Navigation are completely useless, and they can't even handle the one-way street. I was yelled at by the police twice for parking, and the car behind honked the horn many times before I could barely park in.

There is a small yellow car next to the hotel, but it is not bus No. 28. It only goes uphill for a short distance. We didn't know it was bus No. 28.
