Location is ok and quiet, room a bit too small unfortunately

Excellent location and great place to stay. Very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable - wish we could take it all home with us! Water in the room was very appreciated. And there was a decent market nearby that the desk recommended where we able to get cheese, crackers and a bottle of wine! Could maybe use napkins and paper towels. The TV service was good and even had Netflix.

I loved that they sent us the check in info etc We were able to settle into our room quickly. We had noisy neighbors next door and upstairs. You could hear every footstep upstairs and it’s pretty loud. It reminded me of my first apartment. Not the biggest fan of that but luckily I have a white nose. The wifi was a little spotty. We only stayed here for one night for our layover but it was worth it since it’s so close to everything.

Easy self check-in process using code sent per email. Very centrally situated to visit restaurants, apotheke, supermarket, train station - all walking distance. Comfortable bed especially after a long day of travel. Enjoyed the rack-style radiator in the bathroom to get travel clothing dry. Doors & windows are sound proof.

Boutique Chiado Suites was a wonderful place to stay. Our suite had narrow wrought iron balconies off both the living room and bedroom, each with double doors, flooding the rooms with natural light. The elegance and charm of the building, dating from the late 1700’s, was shown in high coved ceilings, beautiful woodwork, and a chandelier in the bedroom. Yet the small kitchenette and the bathroom had all modern conveniences. Then bed was comfortable and the comforter and towels new and fluffy. The espresso maker in the kitchen and the daily refills of coffee pods were welcome. And with all the many pastry shops and several small grocery stores within a block of the building made putting together a light breakfast easy. Daily maid service kept everything spotless. The friendly staff at the front desk answered questions, and offered directions, and recommendations. A major metro stop was within a one block walk providing easy access to all of Lisbon. We very much enjoyed our stay and will de return when we again visit Lisbon. The nearby metro stop had many stairs down and the elevator was out of service. Thankfully, there were escalators going up most of the way. An important thing to note is to check your messages thru your email or booking agent several days before your stay. At that time, the accommodation sends you codes to both the front door of the building and your room entry code through one of these channels. Because of a delayed flight to Lisbon, we arrived after 5pm when reception closed, and because we hadn’t seen this message through Booking, we were unable to get in at first. A kind fellow guest opened the front door for us and eventually a staff member checked a security camera which showed us sitting near the empty reception desk. He came and gave us the code to our room. All would have been easy and much less stressful if we had just seen their message with the codes the day before!

Great duplex apartment ( Boutique Chiado) that slept 8 of us. 4 bedrooms, one en-suite with others having access to shared bathroom. Well equipped kitchen and 2 lounge areas. There are cots and small beds if needed for extra children. Great location in old part of the city, we walked almost everywhere. The apartment is in a largely residential area and a very old building, wood floors but with lots of character. The main wow factor for us was the large terrace, which was fantastic both in the sunshine and after a day of sightseeing to chill and relax.

This boutique hotel is the perfect place to stay in Lisbon for the culture and the food scene. The room was quaint, clean and charming. Ideally located, where there's access to great live music in the parks, many different types of restaurants, a lot of nearby transit options, close to the Tagus river etc etc. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, a great stay in an incredible city.
