Upon Angels - Adults Only

TERRIBLE LOCATION!!! This is the worst and most dangerous neighborhood in all of Lisbon! Walking around here feels EXTREMELY UNSAFE! At night, people scream in the streets, the air smells like sewage, and graffiti covers every wall. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe returning to this hotel on foot. Staying here might give you a completely false impression of Lisbon—this is just a terrible and highly unfortunate location. About the hotel: Some major downsides: 1. Absolutely NO soundproofing! You will hear your neighbor go to the bathroom, what they are doing there, and even their conversations with a friend. 2. The view? A window facing another window—so close you could almost touch it. The curtains had to stay shut at all times, making the room constantly dark. 3. Cleanliness was lacking. The floor was covered in black hair from previous guests. 4. Breakfast was disappointing—bland and uninspiring. 5. Room design was strangely erotic. This was NOT clear when booking, and it felt very uncomfortable. 6. The jacuzzi didn’t work. The only positives: 1. Friendly and helpful reception staff—they genuinely tried to assist with any request. 2. Nice Rituals toiletries. 🚨 I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST STAYING IN THIS AREA! It is absolutely not a tourist-friendly location.

Location convenient and room size reasonable. However, nit easy to get light switches coordinated by bed side and floor has a musky smell .

It’s such a lovey hotel to be staying at. Friendly staffs and can accommodate any requests we asked. As our departure to the airport was at 4:45am early in the morning, I requested to have some sandwiches and drinks to pick up before we left the hotel, instead, they had prepared a big box of food consisted of cheese and ham sandwich, apple, banana, juice and water for us. We heartfelt for what they have done to us. Indeed everyday, we have full breakfast delivered to our room n the food was decent. Also, one night there was a movie night by the pool side, and I found it amazingly care and trying their best to fulfill everyone’s needs. The hotel room is clean and very high standard. I will highly recommend people to stay in this hotel/ serviced apartment ( as it come with an open kitchen). And we happened to stay at their hotel on their 1st anniversary, and celebrated with us and with a delicious cake! 😜
