When traveling, I am used to chain five-star hotels. I have never booked a homestay before, so I am inevitably nervous. At first, I did not have a clear destination when planning my trip to Guizhou. I was very moved when I saw this castle in the sky by accident, so I decided to go to Dong Village. I can only say that what you see is what you get. What I must evaluate is the service, which exceeded my expectations. As soon as Ctrip was booked, a housekeeper added WeChat and continued to track and inform me of the weather and the May Day activities in the village for half a month before the holiday. Because I arrived in Congyang early in the morning from the Guiyang high-speed rail, the housekeeper arranged a car to pick me up, and the driver was also very considerate. The locals were simple and honest. While waiting for the room in the lobby, juice and coffee were available, and all the staff were enthusiastic and meticulous. The homestay is the best location in the central area of Dong Village, quiet in the bustling city. The two of us booked the 520 castle in the sky that we saw at first sight. It occupies the best viewing position, overlooking the mountains, and feeling relaxed and happy. The room is clean, comfortable, and smart, which should be the top configuration in Dong Village. Yaoyu in the evening, rice noodles for breakfast, considerate greetings, I feel that the management team has a positive and upward career enthusiasm, which makes me and my teammates quite unforgettable. What I want to say is that now all kinds of homestays are springing up like mushrooms after rain. In addition to hardware, the software can also impress people's hearts. I recently spent an unforgettable time at Zhaoxing Dong Village Ancient Song Secret B&B, and I really think it was a great accommodation experience.
Location: It is very close to the entrance of the village (convenient for watching performances, taking the green shuttle bus, close to the museum, and you can experience tie-dyeing at the door), and it is less than 10 minutes' drive from the high-speed rail station. For family travel, this is a very ideal choice.
Highlights:
A great view of the breakfast area. The scenery there is breathtakingly beautiful, providing a peaceful and beautiful background for the start of each day. The food itself is also very delicious, with a variety of choices, and it also made me feel the local flavor. I love to eat their noodles the most, it's delicious 🤩 I am willing to spend 2 hours here to have a leisurely breakfast, drink coffee, and read a book. It's also very comfortable.
Service:
Every one of the staff of the B&B, including the housekeeper, is very enthusiastic. They not only provide thoughtful services (making tea and coffee), but also make me feel the warmth of home. If you want to draw a flower yourself, you can do that 😌Their hospitality made my stay even more perfect.
Facilities: Dyson hair dryer, smart toilet, and the room was very clean, which was very friendly to me as a person with a cleanliness freak and a baby~
Overall, I am very satisfied and will definitely choose them again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserClean and hygienic (most important)! It is relatively quiet at Zhaiwei, and it only takes 5-6 minutes to walk to the Tang'an Terraced Fields pick-up point. The breakfast is very rich and the noodles made by the boss are delicious! Seeing that there were three of us, the boss gave us an extra breakfast! Also helped add a set of bedding! The boss and his wife are very nice! Pick-up and drop-off at the village entrance! I will book their place next time! Recommended!

LLeleshikuailedeleyaThe inn is not far from the scenic bus stop. Go up a small slope and cross a bridge and walk a little to reach the main street. There is a sofa at the front desk of the inn, which is very nice for taking pictures. The inns are all made of wooden boards, so the soundproofing requirements cannot be too high, but I didn't hear anything too noisy except for the chirping of insects the day I stayed. The stairs are also made of wooden boards and are extremely narrow, so be careful when carrying luggage.
It was the rainy season when I went there, so the room would be relatively humid, which is understandable.
The bathroom will be relatively small, but the hygiene is okay.
The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and introduced us to the location, route and food of the village.

JJoeend voo siu fungVery good service provide in free picking up from railway station and daily to the zhaoxin dongzai village. Consider the hotel was located near the entrance gate and need some vehicle before entering the village, thumb up to the service, it save up your money travel. The hotel is located behind another hotel but its fine, they provide a single use of disposable towel, if u need like the regular absorbent cotton towel need to request the aunty, they also run a restaurant just across the road so u can have some meals over there also. The hot water need to wait for 20 minutes prior heating so need to wait a bit ya. One of the things that need for improvement is the laundry service, during my trip i was told the machine was not working so i need to went across the road whereby the laundry is locating beside their restaurant, no dryer available ,only regular washing and hang up at their balcony after spin. But the response by the owner by wechat was 👍🏻, any problem just reach up to them.

GGuest UserHotel is close to the center of the village, so very convenient for exploring. Hotel room was clean and the hotel very new and modern. External breakfast was offered in the hotel, so you get a voucher to have a breakfast in a small restaurant which is close to the hotel. Staff very helpful, even they didn't speak englisch, but Google Translater helped. Parking for all tourists is outside of the village, so you have to walk to the hotel or you ask for a pick up. Would use this hotel again.

AAnnybeibeiIt was an unforgettable experience to take my son to stay at Zizai Shanju Inn in Zhaoxing Dong Village Scenic Area! Zhaoxing Dong Village is a scenic spot full of ethnic customs, and Zizai Shanju Inn provides you with a comfortable and warm accommodation environment.
After I placed the order, the store contacted me and informed me of all the details of my visit. When they learned that I was bringing a child with me, they also thoughtfully provided me with the weather conditions during our stay and let me know what clothes to bring. After checking in, I was impressed by the details of the inn. Each room is carefully designed with a strong Dong style. You can admire the beautiful Dong architecture and feel the cultural charm of this ancient nation.
The environment around the inn is also very pleasant. Taking my son for a walk in the village, I felt the tranquility and harmony. In the evening, you can also enjoy Dong song and dance performances, which made our journey more colorful.
For my son and I, this stay at Zizai Shanju Inn must be an unforgettable experience. We can appreciate the charm of Dong culture together and enhance our relationship with each other.

MMoffieLocated inside the Zhaoxing village. Facilities are good and room was cleaned daily. The toiletries are basic and I recommend you bring your own.
There were free 2 bottles of water everyday but there is also a water dispenser at the reception. The guy at the reception picked me up from the village gate so it was easy and I did not have to search for the location. He gave me an introduction to the map of the village and showed me where interesting areas are located. The hotel is a short walk to town hospital which is convenient for covid testing and also the bus stop to go to Miao village and railway station. My room has a balcony that faces the lake, very nice view. The reception guy was very helpful, answers all my questions and also helped me purchase local snacks to take back to Shanghai. Not sure if he sleeps because he was always available! Breakfast is Chinese noodles with some purple taro, mantou and egg. It's the same everyday. I had a very relaxed and comfortable stay! Highly recommended!

It was mainly the location of the hotel. It was the first hotel at the entrance of Dazhaimen. From the high-speed rail station, take the 10 yuan / person bus directly to Dazhaimen. You can tell the master to get off at the intersection of Jinzhang Palace and walk to the hotel in about 5 minutes. You are not afraid to go far when you drag your luggage! There is also a free sightseeing bus departure station in the village next to the hotel. Don't worry about the situation of getting on the bus at the stop. It is especially suitable for accompanying the elderly to visit the stockade by car! If you eat, you can walk less than 200 meters to have a good restaurant (you can also buy a group). The front desk service is also very good. I saw that there are elderly people in the same group and helped arrange the room on the second floor. The room is small but full of internal organs. There are hair dryers, bottled water, one-time supplies, daily cleaning, etc. on the top floor. There is also a balcony with a view of your own. Staying in the off-season is less than two hundred yuan a night. Very good value for money, it is recommended!

The lady at the front desk is okay, but the cleaning lady waited for half an hour and didn't come to change it! There is a chandelier with cobwebs on the top of the bed, I was afraid it would fall... I didn't know there was a bar nearby when I ordered it, and the singing kept ringing all night. Couldn't sleep at all this night.
