When traveling, I am used to chain five-star hotels. I have never booked a homestay before, so I am inevitably nervous. At first, I did not have a clear destination when planning my trip to Guizhou. I was very moved when I saw this castle in the sky by accident, so I decided to go to Dong Village. I can only say that what you see is what you get. What I must evaluate is the service, which exceeded my expectations. As soon as Ctrip was booked, a housekeeper added WeChat and continued to track and inform me of the weather and the May Day activities in the village for half a month before the holiday. Because I arrived in Congyang early in the morning from the Guiyang high-speed rail, the housekeeper arranged a car to pick me up, and the driver was also very considerate. The locals were simple and honest. While waiting for the room in the lobby, juice and coffee were available, and all the staff were enthusiastic and meticulous. The homestay is the best location in the central area of Dong Village, quiet in the bustling city. The two of us booked the 520 castle in the sky that we saw at first sight. It occupies the best viewing position, overlooking the mountains, and feeling relaxed and happy. The room is clean, comfortable, and smart, which should be the top configuration in Dong Village. Yaoyu in the evening, rice noodles for breakfast, considerate greetings, I feel that the management team has a positive and upward career enthusiasm, which makes me and my teammates quite unforgettable. What I want to say is that now all kinds of homestays are springing up like mushrooms after rain. In addition to hardware, the software can also impress people's hearts. GGuest UserGreat B&B. They added WeChat in advance to introduce the pick-up service. After we arrived, there were brothers and sisters to help with the luggage. Although the B&B is located at the end of the village, it is not far to walk. It also has the advantage of being at the end of the village, that is, it is very quiet at night and very close to the bus stop to Tang'an Terraces. The facilities, hygiene and breakfast of the B&B are very good. The scenery outside the window is beautiful. There is a large farmland outside the window. The children are very happy playing in the field. Overall, it is a very good experience.

GGuest UserWe are super pleased with our stay here! Our room was nice and clean with a beautiful view of the field. It’s such a blessing to wake up to this view everyday. The owner coupe is also super lovely! He picked us up and dropped us off at the beginning of the village so we didn’t have to drag our luggage across town. Breakfast was amazing! I could literally eat it everyday. They also give us recommendations on restaurants and hiking trail near by. Staying here was the highlight of our China trip. I can’t wait to be back.

JJojoleinThe room was large with everything needed. WiFi was poor. No breakfast provided but there are plenty of options nearby. The hotel is located opposite to the entrance gates, which is far when one has a big bag to carry! The staff nevertheless came to pick me up for free by motorbike. The hotel similarly provided on my way out , free shuttle to the high speed train station as my train was early and there were no official transport options. This was so kind. The hotel finally called me one afternoon when some old ethnic ladies paid a visit to the hotel. They chanted and were honoured. It was sweet that the hotel thought to call me to be part of it.

--zhangyuxiaowanzi-The large panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are super large, and the stay will not be very depressing. The overall design is also combined with local characteristics and simple style.
The sanitation is very clean, and the bedding is very comfortable to use. The curtains and toilets are smart, and they are also equipped with projectors, which is very convenient for overall use~
The boss provides free pick-up and drop-off service, and will send us the guides and programs of Dongzhai, which is convenient for us to plan and arrange. After arriving, we will help us carry our luggage to the room, which is really meticulous.
ps: The boss's sour soup beef and fragrant pork are also super delicious, and the peppers are particularly fragrant! The portion is full, and 3 people have not finished eating! After eating, we also sent us to the scenic spot, the service leverage!

AAnonymous UserBasic room, small bathroom with a tiny sink. The room only has eco-friendly paper towels. There is hot water available. One thing that bothered me was that the heater takes around 24 hours to heat up the room. If you only stay one night here in winter expect it to be a cold one. I found the bed sheets also to be too short for people taller than 1.80m.
Besides the room being average the service provided is far above average. The host made sure I reached the hotel safely and picked me up from the bus stop.

GGuest UserHotel is close to the center of the village, so very convenient for exploring. Hotel room was clean and the hotel very new and modern. External breakfast was offered in the hotel, so you get a voucher to have a breakfast in a small restaurant which is close to the hotel. Staff very helpful, even they didn't speak englisch, but Google Translater helped. Parking for all tourists is outside of the village, so you have to walk to the hotel or you ask for a pick up. Would use this hotel again.

GGuest User我一般不寫評論的。我是一個朋友推薦來的，本來到這種地方也沒抱太大的希望，但到老闆家來，確實給了我很多的驚喜。説説衞生，床單被套挺乾淨的。沒有什麼好挑剔的，設施，還挺齊全的，洗衣機，吹風機等都有，床感覺還可以吧。位置，就在近寨門的第1家，挺好找的，不過我們是老闆去接的，哈哈。老闆的服務態度我沒得挑剔，挺隨和。晚上吃夜宵還和老闆去吃喝了一杯小酒。來説説晚餐，我們都是在網上看見老闆一天衹做一桌飯，這天我們幾個來老闆居然沒有訂餐，正好就讓我們碰到了，就讓老闆給我們做了一餐，確實果然名不虛傳，他的那個黃燜牛肉做的確實好，我還是第1次吃帶皮的牛肉，聽説老闆以前是個廚師。以後有機會到老闆家去，一定要讓他做一餐來吃，就看你有沒有這個緣分。再來説説風景。老闆家樓上有一個幾十平米的露天觀景台，180度無死角，風景特別**。住他家就不用到處去找觀景台了，觀景台上面還有一個很大的茶台，適合喝茶，還有兩衹可可愛愛的貓咪

Turn right out of the village to take pictures. The green rice fields and distant mountains form a perfect background. Turn left for 3 minutes to reach the wonderful bonfire party in Dong Village. The boss is also very nice and responds in a timely manner. Recommended recommended.

AAnonymous UserIt was not bad when I checked in. At first glance, I felt that it was not bad, it was an old house. The problem came when I went up the stairs. The carpet should be tattered and dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned. The first sight of entering the room is okay, close the window and turn on the air conditioner, and found that the window and the surrounding area are full of spider webs and insects. Pull the curtains, suddenly a spider 🕷️ that has been slapping the size of a palm jumped onto the bed, it scared me! Immediately ask the front desk to arrange a replacement. The lady at the front desk is okay, but the cleaning lady waited for half an hour and didn't come to change it! There is a chandelier with cobwebs on the top of the bed, I was afraid it would fall... I didn't know there was a bar nearby when I ordered it, and the singing kept ringing all night. Couldn't sleep at all this night. Thinking about returning the next day, let’s just pass by in one night... I will definitely not come again next time! !
Facilities: average, the TV cannot be watched, and the batteries of the remote control are moldy. When the air conditioner is turned on, it will spray water.
Hygiene: the floor is dusty, with insects and cobwebs.
