GGuest UserGreat B&B. They added WeChat in advance to introduce the pick-up service. After we arrived, there were brothers and sisters to help with the luggage. Although the B&B is located at the end of the village, it is not far to walk. It also has the advantage of being at the end of the village, that is, it is very quiet at night and very close to the bus stop to Tang'an Terraces. The facilities, hygiene and breakfast of the B&B are very good. The scenery outside the window is beautiful. There is a large farmland outside the window. At first, I did not have a clear destination when planning my trip to Guizhou. I was very moved when I saw this castle in the sky by accident, so I decided to go to Dong Village. I can only say that what you see is what you get. What I must evaluate is the service, which exceeded my expectations. As soon as Ctrip was booked, a housekeeper added WeChat and continued to track and inform me of the weather and the May Day activities in the village for half a month before the holiday. Because I arrived in Congyang early in the morning from the Guiyang high-speed rail, the housekeeper arranged a car to pick me up, and the driver was also very considerate. The locals were simple and honest. While waiting for the room in the lobby, juice and coffee were available, and all the staff were enthusiastic and meticulous. The homestay is the best location in the central area of Dong Village, quiet in the bustling city. The two of us booked the 520 castle in the sky that we saw at first sight. It occupies the best viewing position, overlooking the mountains, and feeling relaxed and happy. The room is clean, comfortable, and smart, which should be the top configuration in Dong Village. Yaoyu in the evening, rice noodles for breakfast, considerate greetings, I feel that the management team has a positive and upward career enthusiasm, which makes me and my teammates quite unforgettable. What I want to say is that now all kinds of homestays are springing up like mushrooms after rain. In addition to hardware, the software can also impress people's hearts. GGuest UserThe location of the B&B is very good, the facilities are clean and complete, and there is a projector and a small refrigerator inside. I chose this place mainly for the scenery. The view of the countryside outside the window is very good, and you can have breakfast by the field in the morning. The service of the boss and the boss lady is also very good. After arriving at the entrance of the village, the boss will drive to pick you up. There were not many people on the day of check-in, and I was upgraded to a deluxe room. Overall, the experience of staying here is still very good.

JJuliaProbably the best hotel during our trip through China. Great location in Zhaoxing overlooking the historical village in a very quiet area, perfect for who needs rest from the hustle of Chinas big cities. Beautiful, carefully designed and furnished room with wooden floors furniture, very comfortable beds and great bathrooms.
Lots of little extras, like a beautiful reception area with balcony, a generous fruit basket refilled every day, great and healthy breakfast, pick up service from the train station etc.
Young and very friendly hosts, english is hardly spoken but with a translation app communication is easy and the staff are keen on helping you with any questions.
As the house was not fully booked, they surprised us with a free upgrade to a larger room.
Over all, an amazing experience!

GGuest UserA beautiful place overlooking the rice fields of Zhaoxing! Love the atmosphere and vibes of the place. The view from the room is so gorgeous and the room interior has lovely homely decor as well. The breakfast was simple and hearty. But above all, the owner and staff running the place were really kind and hospitable. The owner contacted me prior to my stay and showed me videos of the available rooms so I could choose which room I preferred. And knowing that I'm a lone girl travelling by myself and reaching the station at night, he kindly borrowed a car to drive me from the station to the hotel so that I wouldn't be left to my own devices in the dark and waived the transport fee for me too. I'm really so grateful for their hospitality!!

The boss provides free pick-up and drop-off service, and will send us the guides and programs of Dongzhai, which is convenient for us to plan and arrange. After arriving, we will help us carry our luggage to the room, which is really meticulous.

AAnnybeibeiIt was an unforgettable experience to take my son to stay at Zizai Shanju Inn in Zhaoxing Dong Village Scenic Area! Zhaoxing Dong Village is a scenic spot full of ethnic customs, and Zizai Shanju Inn provides you with a comfortable and warm accommodation environment.
After I placed the order, the store contacted me and informed me of all the details of my visit. When they learned that I was bringing a child with me, they also thoughtfully provided me with the weather conditions during our stay and let me know what clothes to bring. After checking in, I was impressed by the details of the inn. Each room is carefully designed with a strong Dong style. You can admire the beautiful Dong architecture and feel the cultural charm of this ancient nation.
The environment around the inn is also very pleasant. Taking my son for a walk in the village, I felt the tranquility and harmony. In the evening, you can also enjoy Dong song and dance performances, which made our journey more colorful.

MMoffieLocated inside the Zhaoxing village. Facilities are good and room was cleaned daily. The toiletries are basic and I recommend you bring your own.
There were free 2 bottles of water everyday but there is also a water dispenser at the reception. The guy at the reception picked me up from the village gate so it was easy and I did not have to search for the location. He gave me an introduction to the map of the village and showed me where interesting areas are located. The hotel is a short walk to town hospital which is convenient for covid testing and also the bus stop to go to Miao village and railway station. My room has a balcony that faces the lake, very nice view. The reception guy was very helpful, answers all my questions and also helped me purchase local snacks to take back to Shanghai. Not sure if he sleeps because he was always available! Breakfast is Chinese noodles with some purple taro, mantou and egg. It's the same everyday. I had a very relaxed and comfortable stay! Highly recommended!

- I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault)
- the staff doesn't speak English
Pros:
- It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing.
- The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :)
- Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China.
- The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate.
- I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries.

AAnonymous UserIt was not bad when I checked in. At first glance, I felt that it was not bad, it was an old house. The problem came when I went up the stairs. The carpet should be tattered and dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned. The first sight of entering the room is okay, close the window and turn on the air conditioner, and found that the window and the surrounding area are full of spider webs and insects. Pull the curtains, suddenly a spider 🕷️ that has been slapping the size of a palm jumped onto the bed, it scared me! Immediately ask the front desk to arrange a replacement. The lady at the front desk is okay, but the cleaning lady waited for half an hour and didn't come to change it! There is a chandelier with cobwebs on the top of the bed, I was afraid it would fall... I didn't know there was a bar nearby when I ordered it, and the singing kept ringing all night. Couldn't sleep at all this night. Thinking about returning the next day, let’s just pass by in one night... I will definitely not come again next time! !
Facilities: average, the TV cannot be watched, and the batteries of the remote control are moldy. When the air conditioner is turned on, it will spray water.
