The Clayton was conveniently located so we could easily walk into the city center. The parking ramp was very near and, of course, the parking was included. The beds were comfortable and we had a room with 2 singles and a double. It was perfect for our needs. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the river in the morning. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night. The food was fine and the servers were friendly.

Not very happy with out room as it was near a rubbish dump, no fridge in room. Expected better as we were advised from our tour that hotels would be first class or superior.

We did not get the opportunity to stay in the Clayton, somehow our reservation got cancelled, which was not the hotel's fault, it was a communication error on our part. I am writing this review to compliment Declan who was at reception and helped us get another hotel in Limerick city. We had travelled down from Sligo to attend Moncrieff in concert and Declan was utterly fantastic, he was apologetic even though it was not his fault. He was so helpful and kind and the Clayton Hotel is so lucky to have him on the staff. We will return to Limerick and to the Clayton and next time the lines of communication will be much better. Thank you.

A very pleasant stay with a beautiful location by the river. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and varied, with something for everyone. In the evening, we really enjoyed the delicious food and drinks in the bar, all in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting Limerick!
