The Clayton was conveniently located so we could easily walk into the city center. The parking ramp was very near and, of course, the parking was included. The beds were comfortable and we had a room with 2 singles and a double. It was perfect for our needs. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the river in the morning. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night. The food was fine and the servers were friendly.

We had a party of 40 for a 4 course family dinner last night. The food and choice on the menu were exceptional and the service provided was top class. The area we were seated in had a beautiful panoramic view of Limerick city which was a bonus. It's incredibly difficult to meet the standards for everyone in such a big group but the Clayton certainly did this. We're looking forward to a return trip already and lucky to have this hotel locally.

The room is fine - Premier Inn standard I would say. We are here as part of a group touring round Ireland. Our previous hotels were Hilton Dublin and Sheraton Athlone. The menu at these hotels gave a choice of 4 options for each course. Sadly, the Clayton isn’t even trying. Choice of two starters (salad or soup), choice of two mains (stew or hake) and NO choice for dessert - chocolate brownie or lump it. I accept that there can be economies with a group but this is ridiculous. We are travelling with a high end company and this is a total disappointment.

Wow! What an amazing hotel. The check in process was super smooth and easy. The bedrooms were lovely and clean. The beds were beyond comfortable! The A/C was very welcome as it was a very warm weekend!! We went to a concert so did not eat in the hotel, but we had a cocktail in the lobby after and Naoise made an amazing Pornstar Martini - we had to go back for seconds!! There were also serving pizzas at that time which I thought was very clever and they looked great. Breakfast was amazing! All the staff treated us so well and the quality of the food was second to none! I will definitely be back again.

We were in Limerick for the Wolfetones final farewell. The Clayton hotel was a perfect choice. All of the staff that we interacted with were very helpful and efficient. Particular shout out to the staff in the grill bar. Service was exceptional and staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast service was extended until 1130am which was great given the late nights, enjoying Limericks late night scene. Lots of choice for breakfast in the Waterfront restaurant, which looks over the Shannon. The only criticism I would have is regarding the ketchup, it's awful. The rooms are very comfortable with everything available to ensure a pleasant stay but there is a shortage of storage space. Other than that the rooms are perfect with hairdryer with a very well located socket for the hairdryer - beside the full length mirror, iron and board, plenty of very fluffy towels and shower gel and shampoo supplied. Beds are very comfy with good pillows too, which isn't always the case in other hotels. Our room had a lovely view over the Shannon bridge which is nicely lit up at night. Ten minutes walk will take you to OConnell St where you'll find shops, bars, restaurants galore. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay very memorable.
