Lijiang Town pure Hotel

Pushe, a hidden gem of a hotel I stumbled upon by chance in Lijiang, immediately became a major highlight of my trip! From the moment I landed, I was met with overwhelming thoughtfulness: items I had sent ahead were already neatly placed in my room, and my host was waiting for me at the South Gate of the Old Town, thoughtfully helping me with my luggage using a cart. The freshly made snacks upon entry warmed both my stomach and my heart. Once settled, I was continuously impressed by the attention to detail – daily fresh fruit, exquisite afternoon tea, and a sweet bedtime soup were presented like works of art. Even the complimentary backpack provided for guests was fully stocked with sunscreen, sunglasses, and an umbrella. They truly embody the word 'thoroughness.' The hotel itself is a design masterpiece, having won an award at Milan Design Week. It perfectly blends Naxi ethnic charm with European aesthetics; every item, from the guest rooms to the restaurant, exudes elegance. But what truly stood out was the service. All staff members always had gentle smiles, proactively asking about my itinerary and even helping to pack breakfast for my day trips. Upon check-out, I received handmade brown sugar as a farewell gift, reminiscent of the loving care family tucks into your luggage when you travel far from home. A special shout-out to Wendy and Tommy (as I interacted with them the most, and they left the deepest impression). Every day here was delightful and refreshing. From the quality of breakfast to the sweet bedtime desserts, from the ambiance to the warmth of the service, everything whispered: this is perhaps the epitome of a 'sense of home.' I've already recommended [Pushe] to my colleagues and friends; next time I visit Lijiang, it will undoubtedly be my first choice.

The Guanxia Twin Room had its two twin beds combined to create a spacious 2.4-meter-wide bed, which was incredibly comfortable for our family with children. The room itself is cleverly divided into two areas, with the mattress and a small tea table set on a large tatami platform, giving it a delightful blend of Japanese and retro charm. While the room might be on the smaller side, the facilities are excellent, creating a particularly cozy and welcoming atmosphere. This hotel truly embodies the 'small yet charming' concept, excelling in quality across all aspects, and the service is outstanding. Having stayed at the InterContinental in Lijiang previously, I found this hotel conveniently located very close by. It's just a three to four-minute walk from the parking lot, and they even offer luggage pick-up service from there. Overall, the location is extremely convenient. Breakfast is a delightful experience, featuring ceremonial 'Crossing the Bridge' noodles or savory beef noodles, along with freshly squeezed juices and more. It's a semi-buffet style, and the ingredients are consistently fresh and delicious. I will most likely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Lijiang.

Lijiang offers a bewildering array of accommodation options, making it hard to choose even when you've set a budget. For this trip, I picked Pusu Hotel, and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. Given Lijiang's relatively dry climate, the hotel even provided lip balm. They also thoughtfully included noise-cancelling earplugs, and practically anticipated every guest's travel needs, from portable chargers and umbrellas to sunscreen. The level of consideration was truly remarkable. The staff consistently offered warm, smiling service, making me feel genuinely at home even when far away. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Lijiang.

The room was spotlessly clean and very quiet. When the hotel discovered it was my birthday, they surprised me with a suite upgrade and even a complimentary cake. I was genuinely blown away by their thoughtfulness! The service throughout my stay was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

The complimentary daily minibar was absolutely fantastic. The welcome fruit was a lovely touch, and the exquisite welcome gift was truly appreciated. The service from the staff was excellent, with the front desk team being particularly patient. We also enjoyed the incredibly rich and varied selection of desserts and beverages.

This hotel is an absolute gem, and Pusu truly made our Lijiang trip special. Every staff member was incredibly warm and friendly, proactively anticipating our needs and offering assistance without hesitation. The limited number of rooms allowed them to genuinely cater to every guest's requirements, with incredibly prompt responses. This thoughtful and discreet service was particularly ideal for those who appreciate a relaxed, non-intrusive approach. The rooms themselves were full of delightful touches in their decor and amenities; our children were excited daily, discovering new surprises upon returning, just like opening a mystery box. My highest praise: if we ever get to visit Lijiang again, Pusu will undoubtedly be our first choice.
