Caiyunjian home stay is like staying in those ancient swordfighting inn movies on the outside but inside the room, it has very modern facilities like a voice controlled Xiao Tu system to operate the lights, curtains and TV. Great bathtub to enjoy and soak after the thousands of steps required to navigate the cobblestones roads. Very friendly boss that helped to provide free transport to and from the railway station. Quiet as it is hidden in an alleyway and you will need baidu to navigate the streets of old town lijiang. Good coffee and simple noodles breakfast right outside the entrance of this inn.

Excellent service and newly renovated rooms. Very friendly owner kindly arranged transportation to pick up from the railway station and brought to the hotel. Location hotel is about 300m from the main road and cars are not accessible. Hotel location is in middle of ancient city. Make sure you liaise with the hotel for location as quite difficult to find as it’s quite hidden. Room is a Smart room with voice activated control in Mandarin. Also has manual control. Newly and modern Oriental style renovated room.

The owner is so nice and very helpful. He even helps us to arrange and pick up our luggage. 100% recommended because nothing to complain about. Everything is perfect.

Hotel was very beautiful, comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful as well. Lijiang is a very busy city until late night. If you like sleeping early and enjoying the day, bring noise cancelling earbuds.

The place is absolutely beautiful, kind of hide which make it quieter but right in the middle of the village. The peron who runs it was very nice and helpful, he found us a trip to Jade Dragon Mountain cheaper than the agencies I will be back for sure!

Our stay at this inn was very comfortable and pleasant. The owners (3 people) were all very friendly and helpful. I always texted them on wechat to ask for their advice on where to eat or where to buy things and they always replied promptly and enthusiastically. They even helped us to order scotch tape for our packing and quality rose cakes. They invited us to drink tea and eat rose cake in the afternoon. The Yulong Snow Mountain tour they helped us to book was very good with reasonable price. They even upgraded free for us to a bigger room with bath tub. The room was nice and comfortable with heater to keep us warm. The inn stays quiet and peaceful even though the ancient town is very crowded. All in all, we will come back to stay here if we have chance.

Cozy comfort room. Is about 5 min away from taxi dropped off point, but the staff will picked from dropped off point and help to carry your luggage.

This is my third trip to Yunnan. Everyone I met this time was very nice. This B&B is also the most comfortable one I stayed in. The boss is attentive and enthusiastic. The room is spacious and bright, especially clean. The small courtyard on the first floor is also very beautiful. It takes only five minutes to walk to the main street of Qiyi Street. It is very convenient for eating and traveling. There are also Internet-famous rice noodles, Jiuge rice noodles, and pigpen coffee nearby. It is very good. Friends who have time to travel to Lijiang can consider staying in this B&B.
