My friend and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and we had a wonderful time there. It's one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 12-day trip to Lijiand and Shangri-la for many reasons.
1) If you stay more than 3 nights, they offer you free pick up or drop off service. My friend arrived in Lijiang alone at midnight and she was not fluent in Chinese, so I needed someone to pick her up and bring her safely to the hotel. Luckily Monai staff did that for us.
2) The hotel is outside the Old Town, so the taxi can get there. If you are staying inside the Old Town, then you have to get off at the entrance of the Old Town and walk to the hotel which could be quite challenging for those who visit there for the first time. It took us only a few minutes to get into the Old Town from the hotel and the Black Dragon Pond is also only a few minutes away.
3) What I also liked about this hotel is that it has a free washing and drying machine on 5F. We loved it!
4) Communication with the staff via Wechat was always very easy and fast.
5) Finally, the price is actually quite low. Even if they charged me double, I would still consider staying there. I’m dead serious. 😊

The hotel is conveniently located near the North Gate of the ancient town of Lijiang, with a small stroll to the water wheel, and surrounded by lots of restaurants and supermarkets and a big shopping mall. We booked the family room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms which was super nice. The amenities are very modern and clean. Hotel also has washing machines and dryers. The front desk was very helpful and gave us a lot of recommendations on places to visit and also provided umbrellas for guests to use as it rained when we were there. Highly recommend this hotel!

Families trip for 12 pax , book 3 X suite and 1 x double room . The hotel is really beautiful,clean and stylish. I loved the design of the hotel so much . The location is great too , near most of the attractions , just a 10 min walk to the old town. Reception Mike is very helpful too . Still help me to order a cake to celebrate my bro birthday and recommend us to some delicious local restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Modern interior. Aesthetically beautiful rooms comes with smart functions. 2 spacious bedroom with 2 king beds. 2 bathrooms. Theres Tv in each room. Washing machine is at 6th level.
Host is very helpful and friendly. Mike went extra mile to assist our family in whatever concerns and issues. He arranged for us private trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain at a reasonable price. Even though we cannot speak their language there is no problem. We can communicate via translator using wechat or google translate. Hotel has a rooftop deck where you can see beautiful sunrise.
Do check out Red Sun Square mall. Its located nearby and underground. Selling nice fashionable winter clothes at reasonable price.
For Muslim travellers do not need to worry. Many Halal food available across the street. Just walk around and to find logo ‘Qing Zhen Shi Pin’.
Note: this hotel allowed smoking in the premise. If you are coming with families with young children and are not comfortable with cigarette smell, you might want to request for non smoking room.

The hotel located in strategic area, nearby GuCheng, easy access to plenty of restaurant, stores and pharmacy.
The room is nice, with smart toilet and water heater temperature, flow is consistent.
