Lhasa Hotels with Bars

We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.

The hotel upgraded our room, provided us with an extra bed, allowed us late check-out and provided smiling/prompt service. Overall a very good experience.

Nice hotel with spectacular view at rooftop restaurant. Great location, walking distance from a lot of key attractions and shops you can walk to after finishing the tour with your local guide as required for foreigners. Staff were friendly and tried their best to help despite not much English; thanks to wechat :)

I checked into the hotel at 1 a.m. today. The two front desk waiters, Xiaoyu Cuocuo, received us very warmly and thoughtfully and personally sent us to the room. I drove more than 600 kilometers last night. It felt like home. The room was clean and hygienic, with complete sanitary products. The room was equipped with an oxygen machine, an air purifier and a humidifier. The hotel has a washing machine to provide services. I washed all my clothes last night! I feel at home when I return to Pingcuo Kangsang in Lhasa. This is my first time staying in the hotel in 2021. Every time I go to Tibet, I choose to return to Pingcuo Kangsang. The breakfast in the morning is rich and delicious. The waiters in the restaurant and the aunt who cooks noodles make me feel that the management of the hotel is indeed remarkable. After the end of the Ali Grand Loop, I will return to the Oxygen-rich International Resort Hotel in Pingcuo Kangsang, a self-driving holy land in Lhasa.

I really like the sweet tea in the cafe. The location of the hotel is also relatively good. It is located on the beautiful Lhasa River, not far from the majestic Potala Palace. There are many restaurants and supermarkets behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The room not only provides free high-quality central diffused feeding equipment but also provides a humidifier. The room is ******* style, and the furniture is all solid wood furniture with great texture. There are also prayer wheels in the yard. You can wear the free ******* costumes on the first floor and take pictures in the yard. The environment in the manor is quiet and the photos are very good. It is a good choice to choose this hotel when traveling here with friends.

I stayed in the cheapest and most common room type. The disadvantage is that although you can see the garden on the first floor, it is not worth seeing. The hotel is relatively large. If the room is arranged closer to the inside, it may take five or six minutes to enter and exit the hotel door. . Anyway, except that there is no bathtub and the bathroom is smaller, other facilities, environment and services in the room are all five-star standards. I was originally worried that the state-owned hotel facilities were old, but that was not the case. They should have been regularly repaired. The toilet is the latest intelligent warm toilet. The Yuyue medical oxygen supply device can diffuse moisture throughout the room at all times. The other furniture and decorations do not have a shabby feel. The toiletries are all in disposable mid-to-high-end small bottles. The hot water for showers is large. It's very hot, fully equipped with clothes hangers, shoe wipers, high-end green tea bags, two large reusable bags, white ceramic tea cups as clean as new, trash cans clean and not covered with plastic garbage bags (it can be said that every trash can is changed, high-end hotel processing method) I don’t know why the platform said that some rooms do not have air conditioning, but my ordinary room also has central air conditioning. The most satisfying thing is the breakfast, which can be said to be six-star. No wonder the separate charge is 98. It can be said that the variety is complete and the taste is good. It includes several kinds of Tibetan snacks, yogurt and butter tea, as well as Chinese and Western breakfasts and drinks. This is surprising, and few state-owned high-end hotels can do this. I happened to be not in a hurry in the morning, so I ate slowly for more than half an hour, and the waiter was also very patient in serving me. Thanks! The room style and hygiene are very good, I recommend staying here. You can make a reservation when you come to Tibet in the future. It is very cost-effective and is located in Baguo Street next to the Jokhang Temple. The service is also very good.

I have stayed in different hotels in Lhasa, and this one is definitely my favorite with the highest CP value. The location is very close to Barkhor Street, but it is not as noisy as Barkhor Street. The room is much larger than the four-star hotel near the Bu Palace where I stayed. It is also very clean and has an oxygen concentrator, humidifier and heater! (I have stayed in some four-star hotels, and the oxygen concentrator was broken and no one repaired it) I originally stayed for 2 days, but couldn't help but extend my stay for another 2 days. I have been recommending it to my friends 😍

The hotel receives many foreign guests, and the welcome gifts with local characteristics are very exquisite. I bought several small gifts to send back to my friends. The housekeeper Xiao Liu's service is very meticulous and considerate. He upgraded our room. We are three people and gave us a breakfast. The breakfast is very rich. The sky view on the viewing platform on the seventh floor is great for taking pictures of the Potala Palace!!! I originally booked one night and stayed very comfortably. The room was fully oxygenated, and there was not much altitude sickness, so I booked two more nights. Highly recommended👍👍
