Lhasa Hotels with Bars

We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.

The hotel upgraded our room, provided us with an extra bed, allowed us late check-out and provided smiling/prompt service. Overall a very good experience.

Very good. I had some grudges when I read online reviews! When I arrived, the front desk quickly helped me check in. The lady helped with luggage and gave me a fruit plate. When I entered the room, I helped turn on the oxygen humidifier. The most surprising thing is that you can sit on the bed and watch the palace. Super satisfied. It's really high. But there is nothing to say about hotel service and location.

The hotel staff was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help upgrade the room type. A buffet breakfast was given as a gift. I went to Lhasa on a business trip and booked this hotel. The price was very cost-effective at this time. When I arrived, there was a high-reflection and ******* brother who enthusiastically took my luggage. The room was clean and comfortable, warm and had good hot water. The little girl in the room had an innocent smile. .Pure and the dining environment is also very good. You don’t need to take a taxi when you go out. You can walk to Barkhor Street of Jokhang Temple in 10 minutes, which is convenient and comfortable. I checked in Tsomu jelly not far from the hotel and will continue to stay in this hotel when I return to Lhasa.

The hotel coffee bar has a unique flavor, I have fallen in love with sweet tea I will definitely stay here again when I drive to Lhasa in the future.

The facilities are old and need to be renovated. The towels and floor mats on the bed and bathroom are quite clean. The room is ******* style. The waiter cleans it in time every day. I stayed for eight nights in total. I didn't ask for cleaning every day because I went to major temples every day. I'm not in the room during the day every day. I ask for it to be cleaned every two days! The oxygen supply didn't work very well. Except for a tall female manager at the front desk, they didn't upgrade my room on the first day I checked in. I was upgraded three days later. The attitude of the other front desk staff was very good. The cleaning foreman was particularly enthusiastic and polite. The cleaning is very serious. The breakfast is average. The environment is old. The ingredients are single. It costs more than 500 per night in this peak season. Management should be improved and the ingredients should be better. The hotel has advantages. Convenient transportation. There is a lot of food nearby. Potala It takes five minutes to walk to the palace and two minutes to Jokhang Temple. Other temples are also good. There is a temple right next to it, as shown in the picture. It is very good for health and studies. The public security nearby is very good. It is also very lively at night. The shops downstairs are also there. Not bad. Handmade from afar. I personally like it. Go shopping when you have time!

I stayed in the cheapest and most common room type. The disadvantage is that although you can see the garden on the first floor, it is not worth seeing. The hotel is relatively large. If the room is arranged closer to the inside, it may take five or six minutes to enter and exit the hotel door. . Anyway, except that there is no bathtub and the bathroom is smaller, other facilities, environment and services in the room are all five-star standards. I was originally worried that the state-owned hotel facilities were old, but that was not the case. They should have been regularly repaired. The toilet is the latest intelligent warm toilet. The Yuyue medical oxygen supply device can diffuse moisture throughout the room at all times. The other furniture and decorations do not have a shabby feel. The toiletries are all in disposable mid-to-high-end small bottles. The hot water for showers is large. It's very hot, fully equipped with clothes hangers, shoe wipers, high-end green tea bags, two large reusable bags, white ceramic tea cups as clean as new, trash cans clean and not covered with plastic garbage bags (it can be said that every trash can is changed, high-end hotel processing method) I don’t know why the platform said that some rooms do not have air conditioning, but my ordinary room also has central air conditioning. The most satisfying thing is the breakfast, which can be said to be six-star. No wonder the separate charge is 98. It can be said that the variety is complete and the taste is good. It includes several kinds of Tibetan snacks, yogurt and butter tea, as well as Chinese and Western breakfasts and drinks. This is surprising, and few state-owned high-end hotels can do this. I happened to be not in a hurry in the morning, so I ate slowly for more than half an hour, and the waiter was also very patient in serving me. Thanks! The room style and hygiene are very good, I recommend staying here. You can make a reservation when you come to Tibet in the future. It is very cost-effective and is located in Baguo Street next to the Jokhang Temple. The service is also very good.

Traditional ******* style hotel, the surrounding is relatively quiet, so you can sleep well~ It is very close to Barkhor Street, which can be reached by walking for about 10 minutes. There is an oxygen concentrator, air conditioning and heating, and a washing machine. The facilities are quite complete~ The only drawback is that I don’t know if the sewer in our room’s toilet was blocked that day, and the toilet smelled a bit during those two days~ But it is still worth recommending, quiet and convenient!!
