I stayed here one night while enjoying Baybay city. The room was big and the bed big and comfy. Wifi was ok but not too quick. The location is handy right across from the bus terminal and near the water front. The staff are ok. The room is clean enough and there is a hot shower. A good budget choice in Baybay.

This is the second time staying here. I love the bed , linens and pillows. The bathroom with the bathroom collection of large pump bottles of shampoo, body wash and soap are great. The only thing missing was a hand bidet spray and bathroom mirror. This time we had 302D facing the parking which I liked because I could keep my eye on our motorcycle. There is no problem with thieves or anything but it’s nice to look out . Large spacious room.

Great service, we arrived around 7pm to check in and the staff opened the shower and pool lights to accommodate us since we want to go night swimming. The place is in front of Andok's, Petron, and Landbank. There's also a van terminal in front going to downtown/Tacloban so public transportation is very accessible. The room is spacious, we are 3 adults with luggages and we stayed on their standard room and it is not crowded inside. Rooms are in fron of the pool.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Summit Hotel Tacloban , and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a great location, close to mall. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds, large TVs, and plenty of amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I especially appreciated the fact that they were able to accommodate my request for a late check-out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Tacloban. The hotel is luxurious, comfortable, and convenient, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful stay, and I would definitely stay there again. Now, that I am leaving for Canada, I will definitely miss everything in this place. Thank you Summit Hotel!

The hotel has no restaurant or bar , the restaurant is not too much of a problem as Roberson shopping mall is next door , plenty of food thee , but the bar was , as we had to take a tricycle both ways to get a drink , we brought some takeaway alcohol back to the hotel , there is on the second floor an area to sit , so we thought we’d share a drink there before retiring for the night , but we were told in no uncertain terms that drinking was not allow except in our rooms which I thought was a bit rich , Over all the hotel was nice and comfortable nothing flash but the price matched the hotel , Worth a look when staying in Tacloban

GGuest UserI had an early business appointment in Tacloban City couple of days ago that’s why I decided to stay overnight. The hotel is new and the room is not bad. I like the bed and the pillows! I was just disappointed when I requested for a fresh towel the next morning as the towel they set up was already dirty only to be told by the front desk lance that it is chargeable! ( When I declined to pay for the additional charge , he just said OK WELL NOTED!) … I cannot believe that they are charging for this. Not to mention he declined my request for an hour LCO and being told again it is chargeable. I know the Hotel was not fully booked and so I was asking nicely if possible. Moreover, to my surprised I was told that the breakfast is a buffet style but apparently not! I was in a hurry so I did not really pay attention more! I believe they could improve the service even more better. Yes I paid only 1800 room rate for a night but I guess I could have stayed much better somewhere else.

Ggibo_27Location is great - situated very near the town proper and the tourism office. Just a few blocks away so you can walked your way through.
Room is very clean and the furnitures are relatively new. Hot shower is available. There are also dinnerwares available if you want to take out food from the nearby restaurants/carinderias. There is also a fridge and kettle. Netflix is also available.
Service is actually really great! The host even upgraded us from a budget room to a one bedroom unit. Only letdown for me is the toilet which I think needs to be wider. But overall, a great place to stay in Palompon while you are waiting for your tour to the island.

GGuest UserThey are great in everything, it was my daughter and my husband's first time in Tacloban City, and the hotel picked us up from the airport, I also want to thank their driver for driving me going to the bank before we check-in, When we check-in, there was a smell that the room did not use for a long time, although everything is clean, our bed size matrimonial bed but no breakfast, the restaurant has also limited food, the hotel has an also nearby laundry and many restaurants too. The housekeeping are great and kind people, they help me to find the tablet of my daughter that we thought was lost. They also make sure that our room is clean every day. They also have a great garden and a cute pond that has a lot of fish around. Wifi is fast but there is a small piece of paper that they will give you that you can use for 2 to 3 days and they change passwords. They will give you soap and shampoo for free, no bottled water for free, no fridge, and their tv is not clear to watch. There is also a blackout while we were check-in in, so better to prepare flashlights, once your room is closed you cannot see anything because it is really dark. I have flashlights on hand so it is still okay for me to stay there. Make sure that you stay there first before you pay, because it is non-refundable. When I arrive I thought that we will stay there for 8 straight days but due to work, need to be in different places, but they are still great because they refunded the days that I did not book. Overall it is good, just be aware of the environment in the area because it is dark outside of the hotel. Definitely, I'll stay here again. I want to upload some pictures but due to privacy I rather not.

But the only problem this time was the pool and food. We were not able to use the pool on the evening coz they were cleaning it., they put chlorine
And the food., so supposed to be it was buffet breakfast. But it was not. That was the only reason why we always choose this hotel, coz there breakfast was really good(the buffet)😋

MMayangThe room was small, compared to the original booking that I had reserved. They cannot find my booking reservations so they had to put me in 1 of the rooms available. I booked for a Deluxe Suite, and they said they can’t locate my booking. So they had to transfer me to a smaller room, which is quite a downgrade to what I had paid. No compensations provided.
Anyway, the room was still fine, but cleanliness is not at its best. They didnt really do much effort to clear signs of previous visitor. See photo below.

CCal travel tripsNot sure if other hotels have or do not have hot water for shower. GV Hotel does not, please note. Also the shower is spacious but no seperate cubicle. The whole floor gets wet as you shower, may be a common feature in the tropical cities. Nevertheless, the proximity to SM Mall is the best feature, you can get everything in the Hypermarket and most of the popular food outlets under one roof, just a 2 minute walk opposite the same street. If you want to try the BBQ style, please visit first floor with very reasonable price. see photo here showing the menu.
