We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed beautiful late summer sun in this fabulous, historic place, high up in the hills. We had no car but were happy to take taxis to visit bustling Cinque Terre, then appreciated coming back to this haven of peace with spectacular views. We enjoyed walking out of the front door straight onto the criss-cross network of footpaths that cover the area. We ate in the restaurant twice (gorgeous) and 3 times in Monterosso - very happy with all of them. Waking up to the sound of church bells under sixteenth century wooden beams in our room was very special.
