Boutique Hotel de la Croix-Fédérale

Hôtel très mignon et bien situé au centre du village et rue piétonne. Le petit déjeuner buffet très bien salé et sucré. Par contre nous avions la chambre no 2, et la porte de la salle de bain ne s'ouvrait qu'avec un grand coup d'épaule et se fermait à puissants coups en faisant beaucoup de bruit ce qui est pénible surtout en pleine nuit. La ventilation de la salle de bain avait un gros problème et la salle de bain sentait très fortement la fumée de cigarettes. Les serviette sentait la fumée ! Salle de bain très exiguë, un des matelas avec un creux central. Sinon, la chambre était mignonne et fonctionnelle.

Das Zimmer war soweit ok, bis auf die Dusche, die war nicht sauber. Zum Nachtessen hatten wir ein Käsefondue dazu eine Art Fonduebrot das zum grösstenteils aus rauft bestand und zu stark gebacken war, der Käse war auch ganz komisch wenn man das Brot darin schwenkte blieb fast kein Käse daran haften. Das Morgenessen war für meine Verhältnisse sehr mangelhaft, Käse und Fleisch war nicht frisch Spiegeleier und Speck waren Kalt. Ich bin nicht ein Mensch der wegen jeder Bagatelle reklamiert aber es war wirklich schlimm!

We came to this hotel because of a voucher. We received a friendly welcome at reception. The voucher included a fondue in the Walliserkanne and a thermal bath voucher. Although this was mentioned several times in the email, we had to explicitly ask for it when checking in. When we pointed out the voucher, the person didn't know anything about it, but we were given both vouchers. When we asked about a parking space, they couldn't help us either; you would have to find one in Leukerbad. The hotel was very nice and nicely furnished. The room was in the sloping roof and therefore not for tall people. The entrance door was about 1.70 tall, you felt like you were going into an attic. The bathroom door wasn't much higher either. The breakfast was very tasty and there was a very large selection. There was also an orange juicer. In the room there were spotlights hanging from the ceiling, some of which didn't work. A socket almost fell out of the wall. The skylight couldn't be opened because the kitchen exhaust air came out next to it and the whole room stank. The double bed consisted of two single beds pushed together with a hard wooden beam in the middle. I had dropped something, so I looked under the bed; it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. We wanted to stay another night, but then decided on a cheaper and better hotel in town because of the price. The hotel is also not wheelchair accessible.

Il est vrai que le parking n’est pas sous (ou à côté) l’hôtel mais à 150 m au-dessus… mais il y a une place de parking où pouvoir décharger ses affaires calmement… Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique L’hôtel est très così et les chambres confortables agréables et propres Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié Tout a été rénové et c’est réussi Je conseille de manger dans la structure car on y mange de tout (du steak à la fondue en passant par la pizza…) … mais j’ai mangé une pizza excellente À recommander
