This summer, my child and I visited numerous cities and stayed in over twenty hotels, but the one that truly stood out was the Tanqiu Hotel in Leshan City, Sichuan! While the surrounding area is rather ordinary, once inside, I discovered its truly unique concept and innovative design. The hotel offers a complimentary laundry room and separate shower and toilet facilities. In short, it has all the amenities you'd expect from a good hotel. What truly sets it apart is the spacious book lounge located right next to the laundry room. Its shelves are brimming with excellent books, and a small tree even grows in the center. The beige flooring, bathed in warm lighting, creates an incredibly cozy atmosphere. A young staff member, incredibly sincere and always eager to assist, really impressed me. After I finished my laundry, he even personally escorted me to the third floor to hang my clothes. His service attitude was absolutely impeccable! And of course, the hotel's rates were very reasonable. All in all, the owner's philosophy goes beyond just ensuring guest comfort; it's genuinely about capturing the heart of every visitor. Even my ten-year-old son raved about how wonderful this hotel was! Should I ever have the chance to revisit Leshan, I would absolutely stay here again! To sum it up: a blend of cultural charm and classic elegance, all at a reasonable price. Absolutely brilliant!

Hotel is in a great location next to the river with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful and spoke basic English. Breakfast was good with espresso coffee available for an extra fee. The rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. Highly recommended for your stay in Leshan.

What a gem of a place!!! The hotel is adjacent to a busy food street, park, and the shopping street leading to the famous crispy sweet skinned duck place! I would not stay anywhere else when in Leshan. All the team members working at the hotel have been outstanding, courteous and efficient! The rooms are devine: impeccably clean, large and smart! The toilet seat is heated and don’t touch it: it opens and closes by itself! Keep it up!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
