The Banyan Tree Meng Corridor in front of the hotel is very good. 800m to the right is the entrance of Leshan Giant Buddha, 800m to the left is the Leshan Giant Buddha Visitor Center and Leshan Museum Square. There are restaurants and snacks along the corridor to the left, or drive across the Minjiang No. 1 Bridge to the street across the river, about 2km, the hotel also has a restaurant for dining. The hotel has an infinity outdoor swimming pool by the river, and there is a riverside garden and lawn of the hotel. There is a green pedestrian path by the river leading directly to the Minjiang No. 1 Bridge, and the lawn is nice. The hotel has exposed heating and can be lived in in winter. It is a good place.

The hotel has a long history. It was formerly the guesthouse of the municipal government and has received many heavyweights. The hotel is located directly opposite the Buddha. You can see the Buddha from a distance in the panoramic room or the restaurant on the 13th floor. The restaurant also provides telescopes for free use. The room should have been newly renovated in recent years, with a reasonable layout and relatively comfortable. The front desk service is very good. I especially praise Liu Chang and Xiang Yang, who are very enthusiastic and help answer questions. Because our group booked two rooms, for more convenience, they helped us reserve them on the same floor and upgraded the room. There is the Old Leshan Restaurant for dining around. It is a 30-year-old restaurant and is worth recommending. It took about 30 minutes to take a taxi to the Leshan Giant Buddha because of the traffic control during the Spring Festival. It is still a little far.

The hotel is separated by a river from the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. Inside the residence, the room I booked can directly see the giant reclining Buddha. I can also see a little bit of the Leshan Giant Buddha, but it is too foggy, so even though the view is good, it is a bit ugly. Clear everything. The room is spacious, but I don't know why the lights always turn off by themselves, and the air conditioner doesn't feel cold enough. The TV is not big enough compared to the room, but it can be moved. The hotel has a viewing platform that is open 24 hours a day, where you can eat and watch the night view. There are some bugs on the outdoor viewing platform, but that's normal for being close to the river.

A tiny cozy hotel with great location in the Leshan city, not far from Giant buddha by walk. Besides, hotel is surrounded by many small local restaurants and shops. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is quite big with reasonable price. The breakfast is able to be served to the room. However, there are some lamp bulbs in the room do not work, need to be take care of them. However, overall is great. I will choose this hotel when I visit Leshan next time.

Breakfast was a set, very delicious. The location is great too, 10 min by car from the train station, within 5 minutes walk can reach a big shopping mall and food streets.

This hotel is located in a very old and protected part of Chengdu near the Giant Panda focus area. I loved staying in this hotel. The personnel were very attentive and polite. They didn't speak much English, but still helped with enquiries, especially when talking with Google translate. Lol. The public areas are all clean and well taken care of. I didn't eat breakfast there, but the restaurant looked fine enough. The hotel's exterior looked picturesque, a building you can imagine from a historical Chinese drama, but the hotel rooms and interior are very modern. I even got a Japanese toilet. The hotel does not have car parking, but a buggy can pick you up from a nearby public car park. No cars aloud in this old conservation area. Needless to say, I loved it there and would go back. ❤️

Beautiful environment, fresh air, and warm service. It is indeed the Jin Haitang Hotel in Leshan City! The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious. You can eat authentic Bobo Chicken without leaving the hotel. Every waiter will take the initiative to say hello when they see you, making you feel like you are home. The service provided by the front desk clerks Xiao Wei and Xiao Zhong was very good, and they even upgraded us!

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Wuyou Temple. The service and furnishings are very good. The service of Jiqing Butler is also very good. The only drawback is that the river outside the hotel is being dug by the municipal government. There are many construction vehicles on the river, and there are also large construction vehicles outside the garden. It is a bit noisy during the day, and you can smell the diesel emitted by the construction vehicles. It really ruins the beautiful scenery. Students who are not in a hurry can go later, or contact the hotel butler to ask if the construction is finished before making a decision.

This hotel is a real gem. We arrived 8:00 in the morning, way way before the official check-in time which was around 15:00. Regardless, the hotel staff greeted us incredibly warmly and offered us a different (and bigger, might I add) room, because the one that was dedicated to us wasnt ready. The room was spacious, very clean and modern. We were highly satisfied. The staff, as mentioned before, was very friendly, very professional and highly forthcoming. Every time one of us passed a staff employee on our way out they kept standing up from their chair and smiling warmly/greeting us. Never seen anything like his before. I cannot emphasise enough how good this hotel is. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommended.
